Mysore Vadiraj

Vadiraj is a well known Kannada musician. He was born in 1985. He is known for his Mridangam (musical instrument) proficiency. Vadiraj began his training in Mridangam under Mrindangam maestro. His guru was Shri PG Laxminaryanan. Vadiraj learnt Mrindangam for about 8 years. He thereafter started performing in prestigious shows under the guidance of his guru. After sudden death of Shri PG Laxminaryanan, he received training from Shri HS Sudhintra. In 2010, Mysore L.Vadiraj joined world famous Mrindangam maestro named dream player. In 2012, Vadiraj shifted to Chennai from Mysore for further training and later started performing in many prestigious Sabhas.

He is also a graded artist of Doordarshan and All India Radio. He also got 2nd rank in proficiency exam by Karnataka board. He did not perform only in India but Worldwide; in 2017 he performed in Glasgow, Scotland. He is receptionist of many awards some of which are Gopalchari Memorial Endowment Award, Padmanabha Dasa Award. Mysore is also a winner of reality show named Bhajan Samrat Season 3. Mysore also trains students in Mridangam and other Carnatic instruments. He also conducts online classes worldwide through Layam Academy.
