He was born in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and lives in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He got married on 24 June 2018 and he has a daughter named Navira. Vignesh studied M.A. Journalism and Mass Communication at Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and studied B.sc Visual Communication at Hindustan College of Arts and Science (HICAS).
