An entrepreneur turned Director, Akella Peri Srinivas was born in 1967 and hails from Hyderabad, Telangana. He completed his graduation from Osmania University. Srinivas is an investment banker and director of a corporate organization, working closely with MNCs. Filmmaking has been a field of interest for Srinivas since childhood but, he first decided to focused on career. In 2015, Srinivas thought of accomplishing his dream and decided to direct a film with a new lead pair. He made his directorial debut at 51 in the Tollywood film industry, his artwork was released in Telegu language. The film titled Premaku Raincheck is a rom-com, exploring love versus career and the conflicts arising due to principles was released in September 2018. The film was well-received by the audience and has an IMDb rating of 7.1/10.
