DJ Vasanth

D J Vasant is a Telugu Lyricist and music composer. He was born and brought up in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh. He holds a degree of Diploma in Violin and later learned to play the Keyboard. He is the grandson of a popular veteran music director Satyam who has scored music for over 650 films. He got the inspiration from his grandfather to become a music composer. He has also worked as an assistant music director under the guidance of famous music composers like Sri Garu, Mani Sharma Garu, Harris Jayaraj Garu, and RP Patnaik Garu, among others.

Vasant has completed almost 23 years in the music industry and therefore, has a long experience of composing music for different movies. Initially, he used to write lyrics for songs before working as a music composer. He has composed songs for Telugu movies such as Vaisakham, Pastel S.I.R, and Speedunnodu. The audience widely appreciated and loved the music of these films. 

As a composer, Vasant pays more attention to the story and director of the film before composing music. Keeping in mind the story and director, he tries to deliver the best music without compromising quality or pointing to budget issues. He likes to put all of his efforts to the maximum ability to deliver what the director asks for.
