Chetana Uttej

Chetana Uttej is a Kannada, movie actress. Besides being an actor in South Indian films, Chetana is also a professional classical dancer. She took birth in Hyderabad, Telangana. Tamilian actor Uttej is Chetana’s father. She does dance stage shows all over South India and is a fresh face in the Telugu film industry. As a heroine, she acted for the first time in the movie Pichiga Nachav in 2017.

Chetana’s grandfather was a freedom fighter and her grandmother Akupatni Sreeramulu was a Burra Katha artist. Her father Utteji is a recipient of the Nandi Award, and her mother is a design consultant. Chentana belongs to a family of artists who has contributed to the nation.

Her career started long ago as a child artist; at the age of three, she played Krishna in a Telugu movie named Gillikajjalu. In the year 2000, she did a small role in Teja’s directorial Chitram. Later, she enrolled in the St. Francis College. During those days she got importance as an artist, and she also took part in English plays. She refined her acting with roles in the Telugu movies.

She believes that her father promoted a sense of disciple in her, and it became an aspect of her work. She is a propagator of art. So, Chetana opened a talent academy in Hyderabad named Mayukha. The studio trains young aspirants of art in Kuchipudi, Zumba, Carnatic music, and Yoga.

She lives in Hyderabad and loves to travel. Chetana stated that she wants to explore her capabilities and look for opportunities across South India. She desires to engage in off-beat cinema and continue her classical dance.
