Shobha Shetty was born on January 20 and brought up in Bangalore. She has two siblings, an elder brother, and an elder sister. The actress obtained her M.Sc degree in Sustainable Development from Bangalore University.

Being extremely passionate about acting since childhood, Shobha Shetty perfectly utilized every chance that came her way. In 2013, Shobha started her acting career with the Kannada serial Agnisakshi on Colors Kannada. Later she quit the show midway owing to her movie projects. After enjoying success as a debutant, the actress became a household name after essaying the negative role Mounitha in the super hit TV series Karthika Deepam in Star Maa.

The serial gave her immense popularity and fetched her many awards, including the award for the best negative role in Star Maa Parivaar Awards 2019. She as well participated in the game show Star Maa Parivaar League representing Karthika Deepam Serial. Shobha Shetty was seen next as the lead in ETV Telugu serial Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo.
