Rasamayi Balakishan, also known as Erpula Balakishan, is a politician, singer, political activist, and poet. The conveyer of the Telangana Dhoom Dham Committee was born on 15 May 1965 in Raorukula village in Siddipet Mandal, Telangana, India. His parents were Rajaiah and Maisamma. Both of his parents were illiterate. He became known by the folk song troupe, Rasmayi, which became part of his name. He was the chairman of the Cultural department. His wife is Razia Sulthana. They together have two sons, Amith and Adarsh. In 1995, he started his career as a teacher and balladeer. He started his political career by joining the TRS party. He was elected as an MLA from the TRS party from the Manakondur constituency in Karimnagar in the 2014 General Elections.
