Abinaya Selvam

Based in Chennai, Abinaya Selvam is a film producer at Happy High Places. For her education, she studied in her hometown Adarsh Vidhyalaya and graduated with honours in Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy. Abinaya also has a master’s in Public Relations from Stella Maris College. This short video depicted a fun parody of Baahubali taking place at the Kishkinta Amusement Park. The video amassed over a million views going viral on various digital platforms. In 2020, Abinaya was a part of the production team for the romance-fantasy film O My Kadavule. The movie became a big hit in South India and was remade in two languages: Ori Devuda in Telugu by director AshwathMarimuthu, and Lucky Man in Kannada by Nagendra Prasad.

Along with Happy High Places, Abinayaco-founded the digital marketing firmUptown Ideas in 2012 and works actively even today. Besides conquering the entertainment industry, Abinaya is also a successful businesswoman. She was awarded Antha Prerna Award for Innovation in Entrepreneurship in 2017, theBest Business Achiever Award in Digital Marketing by the Institute of Management, Christ University Bangalore in 2016, the Youth Icon Award by Take Care India in Association with APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation in 2016 for excellence in innovation in entrepreneurship.
