Pavitra Lokesh

Pavitra Lokesh is an Indian television and movie actress who was born in 1979. She appears primarily in Telugu and Kannada films playing supporting roles. Pavitra Lokesh was born in Mysore. After securing an 80 percent score in the matriculation examination, she went on to pursue her bachelor's degree in commerce in Mysore SBRR Mahajana First Grade College.

Pavitra sat for Civil Services Examination after failing them in her first attempt; she moved to started acting and moved to Bangalore. In 1994, Pavitra made her acting debut in Mister Abhishek. Later on, in the same year, Pavitra appeared in Bangarada Kalasha. After she realized that the two movies hadn't got her any recognition, she decided to go back to school and graduate.

After graduation, Pavitra started working for a human resource consulting company. While working there, she kept on receiving a job offer from T. S. Nagabharana to appear in his movie Janumada Jodi it was then that decided to take up acting as her full-time career. Pavitra has now acted in several Telugu and Kannada movies and one Tamil film as well.

Throughout her career, Pavitra won three awards these are the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress(2005-06), and Best Supporting Actress – Telugu for the Filmfare Awards South(2015).
