Pulagam Chinnarayana

Pulagam Chinnarayana is a Telugu film industry Lyricist, dialogue writer, journalist, and a Public Relations Officer. He got a special commendation from Vice President Venkaiah Naidu for his book ‘Maya Bazar Madhura Smruthulu’. His first book as a writer was ‘Jandhya Marutham’. He was born in 1982 in Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh.

He belongs to Lakshmipuram, Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. He grew up in Adavi Kolanu in West Godavari district around his maternal grandparents. His grandfather and grandmother have been an inspiration for him. He learned money management from his grandmother and time management skills from his grandfather.

He got a job in ‘Samacharam’ as a reporter. But he came back to Hyderabad and started working as a film journalist depending upon demands.

He worked for publications like Gorintaku, Number one, Santhosham, and many more. He worked for Khadder Babu’s Sakshi newspaper for 8 years and then joined the film industry. He also got Nandi Award for the Best Film Critic on Telugu cinema in 2014. Some other books he has written are Cinema Venuka Storeelu, Cine Poornodayam, Ananti Aanavaalu and so on.
