One a producer and his or her team make a movie they all wish it to be a hit among the audience as well as the critics. Though it is hard to impress the critics in our country. But sometimes it so happens that when a movie is released, and the first review is out the makers are told that the movie is going to be a big flop. But as we all know critics are not always right and the movies which they term as to be flops indeed turn out to be cult movies of their time and thus changed the way movies are made in the Bollywood. Here is the list of some of those movies which in, spite of being termed as flop went to do great box office business and are till now loved by the people.

1. Sholay

3. Andaz Apna

Apna One of the best comedy films of its time, “Andaz Apna Apna,” were not liked by the audiences initially as they found the movie too trivial. But every character in the movie makes a mark on the viewer’s mind especially Aamir-Salman chemistry. The popularity of the movie can be known from the fact that its sequel was announced upon its 20th anniversary.

4. Agneepath

The fact that the movie was remade and the remake of the movie garnered 100 crores on the box office speaks volume for itself. But the fact that it bombed at box office initially is hard to believe. 7. Silsila

It is difficult to understand why this movie was not able to do a great deal of business at the box office from the word go. It tanked at the box office in its starting days but eventually, people started appreciating the movie and is now considered as one of the great performance by Ranbir.
