As the AWBI has arranged an emergency meeting for the film, it is reported that they would be releasing the certificate by today evening and the film would be released without any hurdles. Meanwhile, many theaters including Kasi Theater announced that they would not be screening Mersal as they are asked to sell the tickets fixed by the government after paying a hefty MG price. So, many theaters are not ready to screen the film. So, let us wait and watch!
