Due to this, fans of Santhanam are disappointed. Also, movies starring Santhanam as Sakkapodu Podu Raja, Mannavan Vanthaanadi, Odi Odi Uzhaikkanum are in pending. The movies in which Santhanam did the role of hero did not achieve much. Some of the movies did not hit the screens. But, Santhanam could not reconcile with being a comedian. So, as his next move, Santhanam is to turn a director.
