. Ashok wished to make a gigantic multi-lingual biopic about the King Tippu Sultan. To film this story, his first choice is Superstar Rajinikanth.
Kheny said in an interview that, by Rajini’s idea to make the biopic, he grew the interest to film it. Kheny was allegedly charged by some people that, Tippu was against the Hindus. Kheny said, Tippu was a friendly ruler, who mingled with all the religious people and in his reign, there were warriors from both Hinduism and Islam to fight against the British. As there were protests against Rajini to act in the movie, Kheny said Rajini is not a property to behold in one hand and he belongs to everyone.
Kheny has made efforts to finalize the script for the film about Tippu Sultan and it might take a year or more to get completed, as it is planned as a multi-lingual flick.
Let us wait to see Rajini as the Tippu Sultan, the Majestic King!
