seems to have a solution for that.
In a recent interview with the media, the actor cum parliamentarian asked his brethren to take some inspiration from the likes of SS Rajamouli. Ravi Kishan maintains that if Bhojpuri cinema needs to change its image, they need to look at how Rajamouli changed the equations for the entire film industry.
To quote an excerpt from his interview, “A hero’s budget is a lot but writers and technicians should also be given good money. I am sure Telugu and Malayalam also went through this phase when they were labeled cheap.”
Ravi is not wrong either. Until 2014, forget Telugu, nobody took the films from the southern parts of India very seriously. However, all changed with the arrival of the ‘Baahubali’ franchise, which was written by KV Vijayendra Prasad.
