For the first time, he will be playing a village guy for his upcoming film directed by Sudheer Varma.
Nikhil says, "I will be seen as a college student who hails from a small village near Rajahmundry. My role has a secret past which makes me get into a lot of trouble. How I deal with it forms the crux of the story."
He also added "I will be portraying a very different look in this film. You have never seen me in that kind of look. As I play a rough country bumpkin, I will sport a beard and short hair. So, I have to grow a beard from now, as we start filming from next month."
"I am emotional and nostalgic about working with Sudheer again. After three years we are joining again,” said Nikhil.
Touted to be an action entertainer, the fight sequences are designed in such a way that it looks real.
