Plot:

This adorable comedy film, tells us the story of two visionary pranksters named George and Harold. They have been the best of friends since fourth-grade and have been partners in crime throughout. The one thing they love the most is to play a prank with someone and have fun. The movie is based on their brotherhood and natural humor. Both George and Harold, dislike their principal Mr. Krupp (Ed Helms) who never appreciates their sense of humor and as a punishment for laughing puts the two of them in different classes.

One day, these notorious kids hypnotize their principal and make him believe that he is a witless hero named Captain Underpants. On the arrival of a new school teacher who has been disgraced by being called a scientist and is bent on getting rid of the dreamy world of laughter, Captain Underpants and his two companions George and Harold come together to stop his wicked plans.

Analysis:

As a part of the Seattle Film Festival, this movie was showcased in few theatres one day before its release. Captain Underpants looks a little different in the movie from the comic series. This widely beloved children’s comic series has been well developed into a film.

The movie stars Kevin Hart as the voice of George, Ed Helms voicing Captain Underpants, Thomas Middleditch as Harold, the mischievous companion of George. The movie is scripted by Nicholas Stoller Nicholas Stoller is a British director who is know >> Read More... , and regarding the performance, Hart and Middleditch have put in a lot of effort to sound like kids and nothing close to what somebody can even fake. Helms has been flexible with voicing the superhero and has indeed done a great job. The other cast members have turned out to be a well-built cast of comedians.
