The dramatic musical, directed by Michael Gracey (his directorial debut), with a screenplay by Jenny Bicks and Bill Condon, will be released on December 25, 2017. The 20th Century Fox production promises to take the audience on a contemporary musical journey, whilst unfolding the happenings of Barnum's life.
Considering the Jackman- Hathaway duo seem to do well together when it comes to musicals (cue Les Misérables- 8 Oscar Nominees), and after teaming with British singer-songwriter Mika for the music and lyrics, the makers are all set to bring the circus.
