She began appearing on television, landing a recurring role in "Beggars and Choosers". She has also appeared on "ER", "Firefly", "Cold Case" and "Without a Trace", but she received her breakthrough role in "Mad Men". She parlayed that into a film career that includes appearances in "I Don't Know How She Does It", "Detachment" and Drive, where she acted as a lethal criminal.
