1. Paul Giamatti
Paul Giamatti is an American actor. He was born in Connecticut on 6 June 1967 to A. Bartlett Giamatti and Toni Marilyn Giamatti. He is of English, Scottish, Irish, French and Dutch descent. He is the younger brother of actor Marcus Giamatti. He studied at Yale where he got his Master’s Degree in Fine Arts. He was actively involved in theatre during the early days of his career. He appeared on Broadway and some small roles in television and movies like Donnie Brasco (1997). His first major role was in 1997 in the movie adaptation of Private Parts. His performance was lauded by the book’s author Howard Stern. He later played roles in movies like The Truman Show (1998), Saving Private Ryan (1998), The Negotiator (1998), Man on the Moon (1999), Planet of the Apes (2001). He played the antagonist in Big Fat Liar (2002). His career got a major boost with American Splendor (2003) where he was starred in the lead role. He worked in Sideways (2004) which was a big success.
