Hardy has also acted in a few theatre roles winning a prestigious award in the process, the London Evening Standard Theatre Award for Outstanding newcomer.  As to Thomas’s personal life away from acting, in 2008, he and Charlotte Riley started dating which culminated into marriage in July, 2014.  Edward Hardy has one son named Louis Thoma.  Edward has repeatedly stated that his hero is an actor by the name of Gary Oldman.
