In 1996, she was chosen among the 500 candidates in an open audition for a movie which also proved to be her first blockbuster The Cable Guy in which she portrayed Robin Harris, the girlfriend of Matthew Broderick’s character. The movie was a dark comedy and starred Jim Carrey; the direction of that movie was done by Ben Stiller.
