Chris Bender was born in 1971. Chris Bender is an American film producer who got his start conceiving and co-producing the American Pie film series, which was inspired by his and writer Adam Herz's own high school experiences. With partner J.C., he founded Bender spink, a management and production firm, in November 1998. Spink is a fellow Bucknell University alumni. For almost 15 years, Bender spink enjoyed a successful first-look arrangement with New Line Cinema, as well as a first-look deal with Universal Cable Productions, CBS Studios, and Fox 21. Bender and Spink broke up in 2016 to pursue their separate businesses. J.C. Spink sadly passed away in 2017 and was remembered in a memorial ceremony attended by friends and relatives from the industry.

Jeong is also a licensed physician by profession. Kendrick Kang-Joh Jeong, as he was originally named, was born to Young and Don-Keung Jeong, who were immigrants from South Korea. Ken pursued his education at the Walter Hines Page High School in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was an active member of the student’s council who participated in the school's High IQ team. Ken also played violin in the school orchestra, and consequently was presented with the Greensboro Youth of the Year, for his achievements. Jeong's father was initially reluctant to let him pursue acting as a career, and put him through medical school at the Duke University, followed by the University of North Carolina for an advanced degree. Jeong practiced internal medicine at the Ochsner Medical Centre, New Orleans, and also performed stand-up gigs at the Improv and Laugh Factory. Jeong was declared the winner of "Big Easy Laff-Off," and was encouraged to pursue acting by relocating to Los Angeles. Ken's prior experience in comedy led him to his television debut in The View, produced by NBC networks.
