English Movie Review The Aftermath - Cast & Crew

Anna Waterhouse is a Hollywood writer, popularly known for films like ‘The Aftermath’ (2019) and Race (2016). She was born in the UK and went to Queen’s College, Cambridge University, graduating in English Literature with a master’s degree. Joe Sharpnel has worked together with her on many different occasions to write screenplays. Apart from working on the film industry, Anna has also produced various plays in the West End like ‘Whale Music,’ ‘Five Kinds of Silence,’ ‘This is our Youth,’ etc. The duo of Joe Sharpnel and Anna recently came together and worked for writing the script of James Kent’s drama film The Aftermath (2019).

His book name is The Genius of Mozart, from which he made a documentary. He had an extraordinary career shifting from documentary to drama in a quick way.

Malte Grunert is a German producer and managing director. He was born in 1967. He works for the Amusement Park Films in Germany. Malte attended law school, after which he started producing documentaries in Munich. He has been producing television for many years at various companies like Bavaria Films and CLT UFA. Amusement Park Films was founded in 2009 by him. 

Sir Ridley Scott is a British film producer and a director. He hails from South Shields in South Tyneside, North East England to Colonel Francis Percy Scott and Elizabeth. His father Francis Percy was an officer in the Royal Engineers and was mostly away most of the time. When Ridley was young, his older brother Frank joined the Merchant Navy. They travelled and lived in Cumberland, Germany, Wales, and many other places before settling finally in Teesside (Hartburn, County Durham). They went back to their native place in North East after the World War II.

Joe Shrapnel is a British Hollywood writer, popularly known for films like ‘The Aftermath’ (2019) and Race (2016). He was born in 1976 to John Shrapnel and Francesca Shrapnel. He has two brothers named Lex and Tom. He and Anna Waterhouse have worked together on many different occasions to write screenplays. The duo of Joe Shrapnel and Anna recently came together and worked for writing the script of James Kent’s drama film ‘The Aftermath’ (2019). Another notable project that involved the duo is Marvel Cinematic Universe’s ‘Captain Marvel.’ They were also nominated at the 42nd NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Writing in a Motion Picture.

Martin Phipps is a British music composer, who was born on 1st August 1968 in England, brought up by his mother Sue Pears and father Jack Phipps, an arts administrator. Martin is the godson of the legendary pianist and composer Benjamin Britten. After graduating from the Manchester University in drama, Martin enjoyed his fair share of success with BBC dramas like ‘North & South’ and ‘The Virgin Queen,’ winning the award for Best Orignal Score at the Ivor Novello Awards. In 2010, he won the Best Original Television Music award at the BAFTA Craft Awards for ‘Small Island,’ Ruby Films/BBC. His recent projects include the 2016 TV show ‘War & Peace’ and the TV series ‘Victoria.

Franz Lustig is a German Cinematographer, popularly known for working on projects like Don’t Come Knocking (2005), Ninja Assasin (2009) and How I Live Now (2013). He was born on 7th October 1967 to Dorothea Lustig and Siegfried Lustig in Freiburg, Germany. Lustig won the Best Cinematographic Award in 2005 at the European Film Awards for ‘Don’t Come Knocking’ (2005). Apart from that, he was also nominated for the Best Cinematography Award at the German Film Awards for ‘Land of Plenty.’ He recently worked on James Kent’s drama film ‘The Aftermath’ which was premiered at Glasgow Film Festival in February and was released in March 2019.

Beverley Mills is a famous English editor. She has worked as an editor in many films and TV shows. For which she also received many awards. For her film Elizabeth I, she received the Award for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Miniseries or a Movie at the Primetime Emmy Awards. After this, the same film was nominated for the Best Edited Miniseries or Motion Picture for Non-Commercial Television Award by American Cinema Editors, USA. She was also given the Best Editing award for his TV show Dalziel and Pascoe and nominated for the Best Editing award for the Delhi Crime TV show.
