Everyone fell in love with the script as Liam Neeson outstandingly portrayed a superior former government agent. Revisiting this script is one of the best parts of the movie “Taken.”

Dermot Mulroney is an eminent American actor, film director, and musician. He was born on October 31, 1963, in Alexandria, Virginia in the USA to Ellen, a non-professional actress and Michael Mulroney, a teacher of law and racecar driver. He has four siblings namely Moira, Conor, Sean, and Kieran, who is also an actor. He studied at Maury Elementary School, where he played cello and acted at a theater for children. Later, he became a cellist after attending Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan. Mulroney also attended T.C. Williams High School and graduated in the year 1981 and graduated from the Northwestern University in Illinois in the year 1985, where he became a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He started acting during the 80s, and his first film appearance was from Blake Edwards’ 1988 action comedy film, Sunset. He is popular for doing western roles such as a gunman or an outlaw. He earned popularity as the Dirty Steve in the Western action film, Young Guns in 1988, where he acted in the lead role together with Emilio Estevez, Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips and Casey Siemaszko. He was critically acclaimed in Norman Rene’s Longtime Companion; a film that deals with AIDS. Mulroney played as John, a young man with HIV, who became the first among his friends to die with the disease. In 1993, he played as Bridget Fonda’s boyfriend in John Badham’s Point of No Return. In the very same year, he was cast in the western cult classic film, The Last Outlaw. He portrayed the role of Josh McCoy, opposite Madeleine Stowe in another western film entitled Bad Girls in 1994. Mulroney mostly appeared in the lead roles in several romantic-comedy films. He became the male lead in Julia Robert-starrer entitled My Best Friend’s Wedding, alongside Cameron Diaz in 1997.
