Hindi Movie Review Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaya - Cast & Crew

Vandana Jain is currently living her dreams. She moved from Banglore to Mumbai to become a famous independent producer. In her earlier days, Ms. Jain used to live in Banglore and was an entrepreneur in IT section. Later she came to Mumbai to start producing films under the name of Vandana Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd. The first film produced by her was Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaya starring Gabriela Bertante (Brazilian Model) and songs for the movie sung by famous singers ‘Shaan’ and Mika Singh. Though at the box office the film didn’t earn much, its songs hit the top charts.

Gabriela Bertante is a Brazilian model who has worked in many Indian projects. At the age of 17, Gabriela assisted her parents in maintaining their store. 

Born on 7, May 1989, she shifted to India in 2010, and eventually participated in the Lakme Fashion Week. This was a turning point in her career; she was seen in various magazines and MTV was pulled towards her; MTV introduced her to the Indians through their show MTV Grind, as a VJ. 

Incidentally Gabriela met director Puri Jagannadh in Mumbai who asked her to perform a test shoot. She succeeded in the test shoot and shook her legs for an item number for the Telugu film Devudu Chesina Manushulu, accompanied by Ravi Teja. Gabriella had also acted in the Tamil film Billa 2 and shared screen space with Ajith Kumar. Gabriela was seen in the magnum opus Baahubali, appearing for an item song.

Gabriela is known for the 2012 movie "Gangato Rambabu" and the 2014 movie "Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaya". When she was 17, Gabriela helped her parents' shop in her hometown of Minas Gerais, Brazil, before pursuing modeling. Bertante also took her football seriously and played regional football, while her brother Luis Leopoldino Bertante played in the country, including Palmeiras. 

Nikhat Khan is a producer in the Indian film industry. She has produced only one Bollywood movie, Tum Mere Ho (1990). She was born in 1963 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Nikhat Khan is Bollywood actor Amir Khan’s sister and has also worked as a wardrobe assistant in many of his movies. She did costume designing for Qayamat se Qayamat Tak (1988) which featured Amir Khan.

Sunil Agnihotri is the well known Bollywood TV Serial and Film director and producer. He directed and produced remarkable movies and series and got a lot of appreciation for his work. At a very early age, he dabbled in the media industry and started his video magazines. After his two magazines; Chalte Chalte and Lehren, he made a full-length video film called ‘Don 11’. Not only was he recognized after this movie but one of the songs in Don 11 - Hawa Hawa was very well appreciated. Later he got an opportunity to produce a full-length movie called Danga Fasaad and was admired by many critics.

Mika Singh is an actor, singer, stage presenter and composer. He was born on 10 June 1977 in Durgapur Bihar. He is the youngest child among six of Ajmer Singh Chandan and Balbir Kaur. Mika Singh real name is Amrik Singh. He is the real brother of all time famous punjabi singer Daler Mehandi. He is one of the most famous Punjabi singer. He sang several songs in Bollywood ‘Mauja Hi Mauja’, ‘Dhanno’, ‘Dhinka Chika’, ‘Gabru’ and ‘Mai tera agal bagal hu’.

Mika is also known for the songs Jaato Ka Chora and Rani Tu Mai Raja of the movie Son of Sardar. In 2014, he shares the stage with the rockstar Yo Yo Honey Singh for the song Mast Kalandar. The song is very much appreciated by the audience especially the young of India. Since 1998, Mika Singh was the part of more than 150 albums and movies either he was the composer, song writer or the singer. Some of his notable work was done in the albums ‘Sawan Mai Lag Gayi Aag’, ‘Ishq Brandy’, ‘Gabru’, ‘Something Something’, ‘Dunali’ and movies like ‘Son of Sardar’, ‘Housefull’, ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’, ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Singh is King’, ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbai’ and ‘FALTU’.

Mika also appeared in three films as an actor. In 2014, he plays the lead role in the movie ‘Balwinder Singh famous ho gaye’. He played the role of Balwinder Singh who is a small farmer in Punjab but due to his hard work and the help of his bestfriend Jagjeet Singh he gets fame in whole India. The role of Jagjeet Singh was played by the famous rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh.

Shantanu Mukherjee is a very popular singer and known by the name of Shaan. He was born on September 30, 1972. His grandfather Jahar Mukherjee was the lyricist, his father Manas Mukherjee was the late music director, and his sister Sagarika is a singer. Shaan lost his father at the age of 13 after that his mother became a singer and took the responsibility of the entire family.

Sanjeev Raguvir Soni is an Indian dialogue writer, screenwriter, and story writer. Apart from writing, he has played a role in the movies Khoon Ki Pyasi Daayan, released in 1998, and Bhaagte Raho, directed by Praful D. S. Tiwari, released in 2018. Sanjeev has worked in Hindi movies as a story writer, screenwriter, and dialogue writer in Lohi Ni Taras (1998), as a story writer in Dulhan Bani Dayaan (1999), as a screenwriter, dialogue writer in Lootere Pyar Ke (2001), as story writer in Maharani (2001) and Bholi Bhali Ladki (2001), as a dialogue writer in Garam Honth (2002), Raftaar (2009) and Lashkar – The War Against Terror (2013), as a screenwriter in Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaya (2015), and as a story writer, screenwriter and dialogue writer in Zol Zaal (2022). Sanjeev also worked in the Rajasthani movie Mayad Tharichidakli Radha, directed by Mahesh G Sharma and released in 2015.

Tanveer Khan was an Indian film director, actor, dialogue writer and screenwriter. He started his career as a dialogue writer. His breakthrough movie was Jigar(1992) which starred Ajay Devgan directed by Farogh Siddique. He has written dialogues for many super hit movies such as Raja (1995), Ishq (1997), Zulmi (1999),Suhaag (1994),Joru Ka Ghulam (2000). He made his directorial debut with 2004 released movie 'Madhoshi' in which John Abraham and Bipasha Basu were in lead role.

Nirmal Jani, a cinematographer of Indian origin was born in a family, who has a good film background. Nirmal Jani is currently working in Mumbai-based Bollywood Film Industry. His debut film was Patthar Ek Phool which was released in the year 1991, directed by Anant Balani and Salman Khan was there in the lead role. His father’s name was Mr. Pranlal Jani.

Chinni Prakash is an Indian choreographer, actor, art director, director, and script-writer. He always had an eye for making it into the Arena of Cinema in India.
