Kavita K. Barjatya, the daughter of Rajshri Productions’ managing director Kamal Kumar Barjatya rose to popularity with her first TV serial Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki. The serial completed 1,000 episodes and is the sixth longest running serial in TV industry. She is an expert Kathak dancer, but had never become a choreographer in films or TV serials. However, she choreographed a few dance sequences for Pyaar Ka Dard Hai serial, which was aired on STAR channel. 

Rajshri Productions may be well known for its films, but Kavita took her initiatives to capture small screen and decided to spearhead Rajshri’s television division. 

She is also a vocal singer who had performed various live stage performances. Kavita is remembered best for giving television entertainment the most cataclysmic turn ever. She began with family dramas like” Woh Rehne…..” and produced many more serials that went on air, including “Pyaar Ke Do Naam”, “Ek Radha Ek Shyam’’ (Star Plus channel), “Pyar Ka Dard Hai Metha Meetha Pyara Pyara’’(Star Plus), “Jhilmil Sitaron Ka Angan Hoga’’ (Sahara One channel) etc. She is also the granddaughter of the legendary film producer Tarachand Barjatya, who founded Rajshri Productions in 1947, which gave hits like ‘Dosti’, ‘Chitchor’ and ‘ Hum Aapke Hain Koun’. Rajshri has given many successful stars in Bollywood and they include Rakhee Gulzar, Sarika, Zarina Wahab and even Salman Khan. 

The queen bee of TV production house Kavita had a brief marriage, but the marriage was a failure and she continued on building her career again. She had shifted to filmmaking and produced a detective thriller under the Rajshri Productions banner which had a release in April 2014. In due course of time, she may direct a movie as well.

Simran Sharma was born and raised in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. She is an Indian film actress mainly working in the Telugu industry. She attended Convent of Jesus and Mary, Chelsea, Shimla, and DAV Public School, New Shimla. Simran Sharma later graduated from a private college in Shimla. After her studies, she moved to Mumbai. There she completed an acting course at Anupam Kher’s drama school. In 2017, Simran started her acting career in the Hindi film industry with the film Blue Mountains. She then acted in various movies/ series/ music videos like Ego (2018), A Gift (2018), Hum Char (2019), Mind The Malhotras (2019), Maninder Buttar: Laare (2019), Riti Riwaj (2020), Undekhi (2020) and Oka Chinna Family Story (2021). In 2021, she appeared in the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G Phone advertisement.

Abhishek Dixit is a writer and director predominantly working in the Hindi-language film and entertainment industry. He has been a part of different projects within the field and has participated in different positions throughout the production process. In 2019, he wrote the movie Hum Chaar, starring Prit Kamani, Simran Sharma, Anshuman Malhotra, and Tushar Pandey.

Swayam Pareek is a part of the Hindi film industry, where he works as Assistant Director and Producer. He is known for his contribution to a vast number of popular TV shows. Swayam, or Sam, as he’s commonly known, lends his highly skilled expertise in cinematography to a number of renowned production houses. He has been the Assistant Director for several youth-based drama shows and romantic-comedies like ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui,’

Ajit Kumar Barjatya is an Indian producer. Born in the Barjatya clan, Ajit always knew that he would eventually work in the TV serials and film industry. Ajit is the son of the eminent personality, Tarachand Barjatya, who laid the foundation of the Rajshri Productions in the late 1940s. His brothers are Kamal Kumar Barjatya and also Raj Kumar Barjatya. Kavita Barjatya is his niece and Sooraj Barjatya is his nephew.

Kamal Kumar Barjatya is an Indian film industry producer. He is known for his work in movies like ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ in 2015, ‘Luv U…Mr. Kalakaar’ in 2011 and ‘Hum Chaar’ in 2019. Other hit movies he has produced are ‘Vivah’ in 2006, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hai’ in 1999, ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ in 1989, ‘Hum Apke Hai Kon’ in 1994 and many more. He won Filmfare Award for Best film in 1955 for the movie ‘Hum Aapke Hai Koun’. He was nominated Best Picture for the movie ‘Vivah’ in 2007. His daughter’s name is Kavita Kumar Barjatya and she is a producer.

Raaj Aashoo is an Indian based film music director. He is working with Bollywood for the last few years. Aashoo has worked in some of the Bollywood movies like Romeo Akbar Walter, LucknowiIshq. Romeo Akbar Walter is a hit in the box office. The song Jee Len De from the movie was a super hit. Raaj directed the song in a way that the emotions were pulled out by soft music, and Mohit Chauhan gave a beautiful voice to it.

Vipin Patwa was born on 1 October 1982 in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is an Indian singer music composer, vocalist, and a music director as well. Shabbir Ahmed is an Indian lyricist who writes songs for the Hindi film industry. He is known for writing lyrics for “Bol Bachchan” “Bodyguard”, “OMG- Oh My God!”, “Kick”, “Humshakals”, “Khiladi 786” and many others. Shabbir hails from Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh. He completed his basic education in Jaunpur before he shifted to Mumbai in hopes of becoming an actor but end up as a lyricist instead. He tied the knot with Shumaila Ahmed on 13th May 2014. In 2003, Shabbir made his lyrical debut with pop singer Shweta Shetty’s album “Saajna” in which he wrote all the songs with co-lyricists Yashpal Tanwar, Shashikant Mishra and Shweta Shetty herself. In 2008, he wrote the songs “Khwaaishein”, “Ao Na Aake Phir Jao Na” in Aneek Dhar’s first solo album“Khwaishein” and in 2014, he wrote the song “Kyon” in Armaan Malik’s first album “Armaan”.

Aman Trikha was born on 12th December 1986 and he is also known as the Aman G Trikha popularly. He is a prominent playback singer and does significant Bollywood music. He excelled in playing keyboard without any formal training since his childhood. Later, while he was doing his first year of BE in Electronics & Telecommunication in the year 2005, he discovered his potential in singing. He is a Mumbai based guy who makes a sensation in the music world of Bollywood industry. 

Mahiya Tu Hi Tu was his first solo music album that got established in the year 2014 under the music label crescendo or universal music. Aman Trikha became a good singer in multiple film industries that include, Bhojpuri, Hindi, Tamil, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Oriya, Gujarati, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, and Kannada. Asees Kaur is an Indian Playback Singer. She works in the Hindi Film and Music Industry. Asees was born on the 26th of September in the year 1988. She was born in Panipat, Haryana.

Named Muhammad Atif Aslam when he was born, he is famously known as Atif Aslam. He started off his career as a pop singer in Pakistan and has made his way into Bollywood as a playback singer. He has also made cameo appearances in Indian films along with starring in Pakistani film Bol in 2011. 

Born in Wazirabad, Pakistan Atif moved to Rawalpindi where he pursued his studies. He moved back to Lahore and attended Punjab College from where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree. Asif was an avid cricket fan and hoped to play cricket for the Pakistani national team but when that didn’t pan out he began singing. He formed a band, Jal, and recorded his first song “Aadat” spending his own money. The song became an instant hit online and was one of the biggest hit at the time. He released his first album Jal Pari which featured “Bheegi Yaadein” which was featured in the Indian movie Zeher by the name “Woh Lamhe”.

Asif continued his solo musical career after he left Jal and worked on two albums, Doorie and Meri Kahani. He performed in sold out concerts at home and internationally touring U.S. and Canada. In 2006 he recorded Tere Bin for the Indian movie Bas Ek Pal. He won Best Playback Singer (Male) at the Filmfare Award for Tere Bin. He continued to lend his vocals for Indian movies and sung songs for Race 1 and 2, among other films. 

Atif is currently married to Sara Bharwana, his long-time school girlfriend. He broke many hearts when he tied the knot with her in 2013.

Mohit Chauhan is a Bollywood playback singer. He was born on March 11, 1966 at Nahan, Himachal Pradesh, India. He was also a previous front-man of the band, Silk Route. Mohit is fluent in Pahari, Hindi and English languages. He went to St. Xavier’s School in Delhi and then he came to Himachal Pradesh to finish his studies. He graduated college with a Master of Science in Geology at Dharamsala College. 

Neeraj Shridhar is a singer(Indian), Bollywood music director born in Jalandhar. He is also a songwriter and lyricist. Neeraj married Nikila Shridhar and had two children. He used to be a lead singer in the rock band Bombay Vikings. It is a pop group that combines classical music and Indian music. Neeraj himself started it in the year 1994. The group received fame for the unusual combination of the indo-classic music. They became famous after releasing the remix of songs like "Chod Do Aanchal," "Woh Chali," "Kya Soorath Hai." Even in the Overseas, Vikings gained a huge number of fans. It is the first group to produce music in the mix of two languages Hindi and English which is also called as 'Hinglish.' Rajiv Sundaresan is an upcoming singer and music composer who is making his mark in the music industry by his TV commercials and movies as well. He is known for releasing two of his singles; “Barsey” and “Naina” worldwide digitally using REBEAT Digital Software.

Pratik Vijay Redij is a professional art director in North India. He is also a professional production designer. Pratik Vijay Redij has worked in many projects in the Bollywood film industry. As an art director, Pratik Vijay Redij is known for his works in the movies Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Khakee, and Fashion, all of which are Hindi films. He got known as a production designer for the film Veerappan. Pratik Vijay Redij is also known as Pratik or Pratik Redij by his colleagues. Pratik Vijay Redij first entered the entertainment industry as an assistant art director. He was the associate art director of the film Khakee which was directed by Hindi film director Rajkumar Santoshi, and it had famous actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, and Ajay Devgn in lead roles.

Parag Desai is an Indian Film Public Relations Officer. He works in the Bollywood and Hollywood Film Industries. He also worked in a few Television Shows. He is the COO of Universal Communications. Parag was born on the 3rd of November in the year 1972. He was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. In 1998, Parag started working for Corporate Communications in Mumbai. He later started working in the Indian Television and Films. He worked in the TV shows “Close Up Antakshari,” “Sa Ra Ge Ma Pa,” “Khichdi,” and a few more. He had his debut in Bollywood in the year 2003. Initially, he worked for a few small films in the publicity and promotion campaign.

Ever since Channel V India discontinued music programming and started concentrating on purely original content through programming addressing youth issues, the fun serials it produced have hit the right cord in the younger generation of TV viewers. In fact, these serials are quite differentiated from the usual saas – bahu soaps that haunt almost all other TV channels across India, and mostly cater to womenfolk or the slightly older generation. With its steadily growing viewership, it was no surprise, therefore, that handsome and happy go lucky Anshuman Malhotra shot into immediate recognition with his portrayal of the almost comic role of Dodo in the 2014 serial “Yeh Jawani Ta Ra Ri (YJTRR)”.

While Channel V’s continuing policy of inducting new comers paid off once again, for Anshuman it was also like a godsend, since not all of his age or background could have been so fortunate, that too, just after finishing school. But it really was not that easy after all, since Anshuman had confided later that after he had shifted to Mumbai with his dad, he did join acting school, and at the same time started auditioning for various roles. When this opportunity came his way, he grabbed it with both hands. In a slightly more mature tone he advises other hopefuls like him to pay attention to training and grooming.

In the period between his featuring in the next youth centric serial, this time for the MTV channel, Anshuman briefly stole some minor headlines for his first film appearance, and that too in the much acclaimed film 2014 “Haider” of Vishal Bharadwaj, where he acted as the young Shahid Kapoor. Roles like this always draw the attention of the audience, especially if the person in that role is a known face. In an indirect way it no doubt enhanced his following, and also his exposure for future prospects in films. Coming to his MTV debut serial “Warrior High” , he got used to answering whispered questions about his being the cousin of the much in demand youth films producer Vikas Gupta, who coincidentally was the producer of “Warrior High”. Anshuman, however, faces such questions bluntly and says it had no part to play in his bagging the role, and it was much more to do with his training and grooming, as well as the very positive reviews he had received for “YJTRR”.

“Warrior High” has its own similarities with his earlier Channel V serial, both being about a group of youths basically, but there are the differences too, as Anshuman readily points out. Here he is not really the happy go lucky boy, but an orphan named Utkarsh Rajput, and with that role he needed a lot of maturity in his performance, and inject those subtle nuances that he had picked up in his acting school. All in all, he has received kudos for the way he has built up the character of Utkarsh Rajput.

While Anshuman hates being compared to the young actors of films like “Student of the Year”, and retorts that there are no comparisons with the role of either Dodo or Utkarsh, at the same time he feels he would not be comfortable at all doing the typical family soap on TV. He would rather prefer acting in films, which would provide him much more variety and satisfaction instead of getting stereotyped.
