She was one of the finalists of Femina Miss India 2007 and won the title of Pantaloons Femina Miss India Tourism (2007). Shah has done engineering in electronics and telecommunication from Pune.

Pankaj Batra is an Indian Film Director. He works in the Punjabi Film Industry. Pankaj was born in Chandigarh, India. Pankaj made his debut as a Director with the film Reejhan (2005). He made his mark into Punjabi Film Industry with his first film itself. Pankaj later worked for movies such as VIrsa (2008), Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo (2014), Channo Kamlo Yaar Di (2016), Channa Mereya (2017), Sajjan Singh Rangroot (2018), and a few more. His film Sajjan Singh Rangroot stood as the Second Highest-Grossing Punjabi Film in 2018. He won Best Director Award by Filmfare Awards Punjabi for his film Bambukat (2016) and Best Sound Design by Jio Filmfare Awards Punjabi 2017 for the film Channa Mereya (2017).

The film has been shot in India, Canada and Thailand. According to sources, Akshay Kumar himself is supporting him in his film’s promotion and benefitted from it a lot.
