She is interested in music, acting and modeling. In 2003, she started her acting career in Bollywood cinema with “Inteha”. And in that movie, she played the role of Nandini Saxena. Inteha was a production of Vikram Bhatt. The movie was released on 24 October 2003 and it was a box office flop. Followed by Inteha, Vidya appeared in several TV commercials and few unsuccessful films as “Footpath” and “Mashooka”. However, in 2007, she got the opportunity of playing a role with Shahrukh Khan in “Chak De India”. It was a Yash Raj Film production and she played the role of the captain, goalkeeper of the Indian women’s national hockey team. In 2008, she appeared in “Benaam” and “Kidnap”. In Kidnap, she got the opportunity of acting with Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt. Later, she appeared in films such as “Thum Milo Toh Sahi”, “Aap Ke Live Hum”, “No Problem”, “Striker” and “1920: Evil Returns”. Her latest film was “Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobara”, released in 2013.

His association with Yash Raj Films began with “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai” in 2002. Starring Bipasha Basu, Uday Chopra, and Jimmy Shergill, people pointed out the similarities of the storyline with that of Julia Roberts’ My Best Friend Wedding.

July 29, 1959, was the day when the two legends of cinema Sunil Dutt and Nargis gave birth to the ‘Munna Bhai’ of Bollywood, Sanjay Dutt in Bombay. Imran Khan is an Indian film actor, who is famous in the Hindi film industry. His real name is Imran Pal and he was born on January 13, 1983 to Anil Pal and Nuzhat Khan at Madison, Wisconsin in U.S.A. His father is a Hindu Bengali while her mother is a Muslim. Imran is the nephew of the popular actor and director, Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan. He is also the grandson of Nasir Hussain who also came from the same industry. When his parents had a divorced in year 2006, he moved to Mumbai together with her mother. Imran studied at Bombay Scottish School where he developed a disorder called stammering due to caning. The actor stated that he got failing grades because of his inability to deal with his environment. He was anxious and obtained facial tics. Because of this, his parents decided to transfer him to another school. He studied in Blue Mountain School, a boarding school located at Coonor, Tamil Nadu. It was a very extraordinary experience for him when the school principal decided to start his own school. They followed him in Gurukula or Gurukul in a jungle located in Ooty. There is no electricity there and they washed their clothes in a stream; they also need to grew their own food so they can eat. He admitted that all his experiences made him independent and he used to being alone. Later, he moved to his father’s place in Sunnyvale, California. He went to Fremont High School and upon graduation, he aims to become a film director. The actor then moved to Los Angeles and took a degree in filmmaking in a branch of New York Film Academy. When he finished his degree, his journey in advertising and market research started. In the long run, he came back to Mumbai and took a formal training at Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute to become an actor.

6. Rahul Dev

Rahul Dev is an Indian model turned film and television actor. He was born as Rahul Dev Samra on September 27, 1968 in New Delhi, India to a Khatri Punjabi household. He studied at St. Columba’s School in Delhi where he used to be a fast bowler. Gursharan Singh, a former cricket player saw him bowling and he got impressed so he asked Rahul to join his academy. However, Rahul is more focused on his studies at that time. His father was once a police commissioner in Delhi and his brother, Mukul Dev is also an actor. In the early 90’s Rahul has donned modeling. He was the first Indian to be featured in GQ Magazine’s London Edition with 6-pages story. He is also a regular face of the popular brand, Hugo Boss.

 

Rahul Dev was supposedly debuted as an actor through the unfinished Bollywood film, Dus in 1997. But the director, Mukul S. Anand died during the time that the film was still in production. He was then debuted in the 2000 film, Champion which stars Sunny Deol and Manisha Koirala. He played the villainous role of Naseer Ahmed, the threat to the life of Abbas (played by Abhishek Sharma) and his performance gained him nomination for Best Performance in a Negative Role at the Filmfare Award, Best Actor in a Negative Role and the Most Promising Newcomer at the Screen Award. Since then, he started to do villain roles in many films including the Punjabi film, Dharti in year 2011.

 

Rahul has done more than 60 films including Aashiq, Asoka, Takkari Dhonga, 23 March 1931: Shaheed, Parasuram, Supari, Kyon?, 88 Antop Hill, Omkara, Aan: Men At Work, Kyon Ki, Mazhai, Vidyarthi, Fight Club – Members Only, Sarhad Paar, Pournami, Munna, Tulasi, U Me Aur Hum, Premi No. 1, Yodha, Mirza The Untold Story, Naayak, Shadow, Jatt Boys – Putt Jattan De, Yevadu, and a lot more. He was also part of the Oriya-language film, Mahanayak in 2007. Rahul also donned the Malayalam film, RajadhiRaja which stars Mammootty and the Punjabi film, Hikk Naal in 2014. Also, in year 2003. His performance as Shekhar Srivastav in the Hindi crime thriller film, Footpath won the Best Villain Award at the Zee Cine Award in 2004.

 

In 2013, Rahul made his debut in television. He bagged the role of Demon Arunasur who will fight against Lord Shiva (played by Mohit Raina) in the drama series, Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev on Life OK. 

Rahul got married to Rina Dev in year 1998 but she dies on May 16, 2009 due to cancer. Their son, Siddharth was only eleven years old when his mother died
