Elli Avram shot to fame when she became a participant in the reality show Bigg Boss. Although she was
not the winner, she went on to become a household name. Elli Avram is of Swedish origin and was born
in 1990 in her home town of Stockholm. Elli Avram had wanted to make a career in Bollywood since her
childhood as she carried a fondness for Indian culture. She took an active interest in music and dancing,
and began her career as a member of a dance group known as Pardesi Dance Group back in Sweden. As
part of the group, she performed on music from the Bollywood across Sweden. She also went on to star
in local movies such as Forbjuden Frukt, where the played the role of the girlfriend of the leading man.
She also participated in the Miss Greece contest in 2010, although did not win. In 2012, Elli moved to
Mumbai and signed up for modeling assignments. She appeared in an advertisement in her early years
with Akshay Kumar for Eveready Industries India. She also appeared in a television commercial for
jewelry for another company. Post her success in Bigg Boss season 7, Elli was offerd the role in the
movie Mickey Virus which was a thriller comedy based around the adventures of a digital hacker who
was hired by the Mumbai police to solve a crime. At this point in time, Elli began to receive formal
training in Hindi since she did not speak the language before....
