Her father came to the country from Angers, France many years ago and met Francoise in Auroville, Puducherry. They are both followers of Sri Aurobindo.

His films are always on different subjects. His two films has been shown in Big festivals, and found many praises from all over the India. He puts 100% in every step of film making like directory of photography, casting, story writing and directions.

An assignment for writing dialogues for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani fell on his lap when Ayan Mukherjee made an impromptu decision in giving him a chance to write a few scenes.
