Son of a legendary Filmstar Jeetendra Kapoor and brother of Balaji Production Owner Ekta Kapoor. He completed his Masters from Ross School of Business (Michigan). He wanted to opt IFS (Indian Foreign Services) as his career but destiny and family genes for movies turned him into Bollywood. He made his first debut in ‘Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai’ in 2001. He wrote various popular soap operas like Kahiin To Hoga on STAR Plus, Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat on Sony TV, K. Street Pali Hill on STAR Plus, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii on STAR Plus and Kasauti Zindagii Kay on STAR Plus. He started to be a scriptwriter with an hour episodes of the series, Rishtey and Zee TV’s Saturday Night Suspense.
