Raima Sen is a renowned Indian film actress, who mainly works in the Bengali film industry. She was born on November 7, 1979, in Kolkata, West Bengal in India to Moon Moon Sen, a prominent actress, and Bharat Dev Varma, who belongs to the Tripura royal family. She is also the sister of Riya Sen and the granddaughter of the late Suchitra Sen, who are both popular actresses. Her paternal and maternal great grandparents belong to the affluent and renowned families in the country. She debuted in the Bollywood biographical film, Godmother, which was helmed by Vinay Shukla in the year 1999. The film became critically acclaimed, but her portrayal was unnoticed for the lead actress, Shabana Azmi. In 2001, she played as the daughter of Raveena Tandon in the drama film, Daman: A Victim of Marital Violence, where she was appreciated for her small performance.

He earned fame with his most notable ad campaigns, ‘Sharad Samman' and ‘Bongo JibonerAngo' for antiseptic ointment, Boroline and mango drink, Frooti respectively.
