Neetu Chandra is a famous actress in South India. She was on 20 June 1984 in Patna, Bihar. Neetu completed her schooling from Notre Dame Academy and pursued her graduation from Indhraprastha College. Neetu was very passionate about modeling, but her father did not want her to go with films. But Neetu’s mother guided and encouraged her. Apart from film career, Neetu produced a Bhojpuri film Deswa which was directed by her brother. Neetu is the brand ambassador of Hoop.

Anees Bazmee was born in the place of Modasa, Gujarat. He is also called as Bazmee Sahab and he is a very popular movie director, movie writer and a screenplay writer as well. He also had casted the same people for his second movie Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, which was a huge success. It made it to an accomplished box office collection of the year and ot received huge felicitation from the critics. 

He took a gap of five years, after which he directed a movie known as Deewangee. His movie Singh is Kinng is a magical movie that had won the hearts of most of the Bollywood audiences. It had brought a huge impact to the Bollywood cinema and of-course he deserved it. His current project is to work on the remake of the Hollywood film The Hangover. It is expected to trend set upon his directorial experiments.

7. Akshaye Khanna

Akshaye Khanna is a popular Indian film actor. He was born on March 28, 1975, in Mumbai, Maharashtra in India to Bollywood actor, Vinod Khanna and Geetanjali Khanna. His brother, Rahul Khanna is also an actor and they are both members of South Mumbai’s Royal Willingdon Sports Club. Akshaye studied at Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai. 


After this, he was debuted in the Bollywood romance film, Himalay Putra in the year 1997, along with Hema Malini, Satish Shah, and Johnny Lever. This film was produced by his father, but it became unsuccessful at the box-office. In the same year, he acted in Sunny Deol-starrer film, Border. His role as the 2nd Lieutenant was initially offered to Aamir Khan, but due to date issues, the actor declined the offer and so Akshaye was cast in the film. He earned the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut and got nominated at the Star Screen Award for the Best Actor in a Supporting Role in the year 1998. Followed by this, was a string of not so successful films including, Mohabbat, Kudrat, Love You Hamesha, Laawaris, and Dahek: A Burning Passion from the year 1997 to 1999. 


Akshaye was starred in the Bollywood romantic drama musical film, Aa Ab Laut Chalen, alongside Rajesh Khanna. Though the film did an average business at the box-office, he received praises for his brilliant acting. Akshaye acted opposite Aishwarya Rai in the critical and commercial Bollywood romantic drama film, Taal, which was helmed by Subhash Ghai. In the year 2001, Akshaye appeared in the multi-starrer comedy-drama film, Dil Chahta Hai, alongside Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Kulkarni, Preity Zinta and Dimple Kapadia. This film became a defining moment in his career as it turns out to be a commercial and critical success. Initially, his role as Sid was offered to Abhishek Bachchan, but he turned it down, and so Akshaye was cast in the film and was applauded by his brilliant performance. He also earned the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor and his career was re-launched. In 2002, he played as a villain in Bobby Deol-starrer Humraaz. This film earned him critical acclaim and a nomination at the Filmfare for Best Performance in a Negative Role. Later, he shifted to doing comedy films and was cast in the Priyadarshan’s Hungama in 2003 and Hulchul in 2004; both films made it to the box-office success.


This was followed by lukewarm and unsuccessful films like Aap Ki Khatir and Shaadi Se Pehle in 2006, Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love, Gandhi, My Father and Naqaab in 2007 and Mere Baap Pehle Aap in 2008. Akshaye later appeared in Abbas-Mustan’s blockbuster thriller film Race in 2008. This film became the 4th highest-grossing film of the year and his character as Rajeev Singh earned him the Screen Awards and IIFA Awards for Best Villain. But his performance as Harilal Gandhi, the son of Mahatma Gandhi (played by Darshan Jariwala) in the critically acclaimed biographical drama film, ‘Gandhi, My Father’ was considered as his best performance as an actor. 


In the year 2010, Akshaye was starred in the action-comedy film, No Problem, along with Sanjay Dutt and Kangana Ranaut in the lead role. He was also praised by his performances in the action thriller film, Aakrosh and in the heist comedy film, Tees Maar Khan in 2010. Besides acting, Akshaye voiced the character of Alex the Parrot in the 3D animated film, Delhi Safari in 2012. He was also featured in the Hindi comedy film, Gali Gali Chor Hai, along with Shriya Sarn and Mugdha Godse. 


After this, he took a hiatus from acting and recently made a comeback in the upcoming action-adventure film, Dishoom, helmed by Rohit Dhawan and is expected to release in the year 2016.

8. Paresh Rawal

The Padma Shri award winner who shot to fame with his role in the 1986 blockbuster film ‘Naam’, which told the story of a poor family that struggled to make ends meet, was born on 30th May 1950 in Mumbai. He completed his graduation from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. Rawal made his debut in the film industry through the movie ‘Holi’ in the year 1984 but it was his next film, ‘Naam’, which brought him all the fame and attention as an actor. Success followed him, and he acted in over hundred films during 1980s and 1990s. Such was his versatility, that he has done roles from lead actor to Main villain. He did the role of main villain in most of his movies and he was considered as a character actor during those days. 


The 1994 hits ‘Woh Chokri’ and ‘Sir’ won him the national award for best supporting actor and ‘Sir’ won him the Filmfare award for best comedian.
