Swati Chitnis has been a part of both Hindi entertainment industry and Marathi entertainment industry for decades. She entered the acting industry when she was bright and young, and even though she is not young anymore, she still holds a spot in the industry.

She has been casted in many movies, such as Road to Sangam (2010) and Rajjo (2013). She played a supporting role in both of the movies, but due to her acting skills, her presence was felt on the screen. 

As of late Swati Chitnis has been seen in a TV arrangement, named Sasural Simar Ka (25 April 2011 – Present), aired on Colors TV. The serial spins around two young ladies belonging to a middle class family, who are supposed to wed two siblings, yet because of some unforeseen happenings both the young ladies wed divorced grooms. In the serial, Swati played the character Shoba.

Swati had a supporting character to play, yet her fans still appreciated her work because of her eagerness to try her hardest without fail. In a meeting she said, "No work is huge or little, it is your brain that makes it little or enormous.”

The reason why fans love her is because of her loving personality. She can adapt to any character she is given and show the best of her skills when she performs. Even though her acting career has up’s and down’s, and she took some long breaks before appearing again in the industry but still she managed to hold her place as she appeared again in a list of new movies and in a TV series.

Amit Rai is an Indian film director and writer. He won the Gollapudi Srinivas Award in 2010 for directing Road to Sangam. He got the best debutant director award. This film fetched him 14 national and international awards including the Silver Palm Award at Mexico international film festival award.

Amit Chheda is an Indian film producer who mainly works in the Hindi film industry. He did his schooling at C.N. high school from the year 1977 to 1984 and done his graduation (B.com) at Mumbai University from the year 1988 to 1991. Amit works as the Business Development Manager of Shethia Audio Video Pvt Ltd from November 1996 to March 2001, he works as a CEO in Shethia Audio Video Pvt Ltd from March 2001. Amit chheda entered into the entertainment and media field in his earlier age. He produced many television series and animation films. Amit chheda also makes and distributes the Television Programs, documentary films and short films. He worked in the movies such as Aashiqui.in, and Road to Sangam.

The Padma Shri award winner who shot to fame with his role in the 1986 blockbuster film ‘Naam’, which told the story of a poor family that struggled to make ends meet, was born on 30th May 1950 in Mumbai. He completed his graduation from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. Rawal made his debut in the film industry through the movie ‘Holi’ in the year 1984 but it was his next film, ‘Naam’, which brought him all the fame and attention as an actor. Success followed him, and he acted in over hundred films during 1980s and 1990s. Such was his versatility, that he has done roles from lead actor to Main villain. He did the role of main villain in most of his movies and he was considered as a character actor during those days. 

The 1994 hits ‘Woh Chokri’ and ‘Sir’ won him the national award for best supporting actor and ‘Sir’ won him the Filmfare award for best comedian. He received nationwide recognition as villain through his negative roles in Telugu blockbusters like ‘Kshana Kshanam’, ‘Money’ etc. He was considered as a character actor until his role in the 2000 hit ‘Hera Pheri’ which gave a turn in Paresh Rawal’s career. ‘Hera Pheri’ told the story of a witty Marathi landlord who rents his apartment out to bachelors. He started taking either lead or the main protagonist roles in many of the mainstream Bollywood films that followed. Rawal received wide recognition and appreciation for his role in ‘Hera Pheri’, and his acting in the film was considered as the major contributing factor to the movie’s success. Many comedy numbers followed and Paresh Rawal’s roles in all those movies got the best feedback. 

 He is also a renowned actor in Gujarati drama industry, and his latest play ‘Dear Father’ was a hit. He has also produced several successful TV soaps including ‘Teen Bahuraniyaan’ of ‘Zee TV’. Paresh Rawal is also into politics and won the parliament election from Ahmedabad East constituency to become the Member of Parliament for BJP in 2014. He is married to the 1979 Miss India and actress Swaroop Sampat and has two sons, Aditya and Aniruddh.

Om Rajesh Puri is one of the widely noted senior actors in the Indian film industry and he was born on 18th October 1950 in Patiala, Punjab. He is one of the few Bollywood actors to act in mainstream commercial English movies. The alumnus of National School of Drama was also a classmate of renowned actor Naseeruddin Shah of the 1973 class.

He started his movie career in 1976 with the Marathi film ‘Ghashiram Kotwal’ directed by K.Hariharan. The movie was based on a play with the same name and it got success both commercially and critically. His career graph saw the coming of critically acclaimed art films such as ‘Bhavni Bhavai’, ‘Sadgati’, ‘Ardh Satya’ etc. and he was one of the major stars to do art films at that time along with well-known actors like Naseeruddin Shah, and Shabana Azmi. His reputation sky rocketed with his unconventional roles in many films during the 80s such as ‘Aakrosh’ and ‘Disco dancer’. Puri became famous for his versatility and personality, and went on to act in films in many domestic and foreign industries. Be it Hollywood blockbusters like ‘Gandhi’ or ‘Charlie Wilson’s War’ or regional hits like ‘A.K. 47’, Puri left a unique zeal on every role he did.

If he was known for his personality and his unconventional roles in the movies, he proved the world that he could handle any kind of role with an envious ease with the TV series ‘Kakkaji Kaheen’ and ‘Sutradhaar’ where he did comedy characters. He was honoured by the government of India with Padma Shri award and he also received ‘Order of The British Empire’. He is currently working for the movie ‘Chapekar Brothers’ in which he will be playing Bal Gangadhar Tilak.

Javed Sheikh is one of Pakistan’s actor, producer, and director, who also acts in Bollywood. Javed Sheikh was born in Rawalpindi on 8th October 1954 to a Pakistani family. He started his film career in 1974, with a Lollywood film Dhamaka. Since then, he featured in many Pakistani films, like Kalay Chor, Daku Raaj, Zamana, among others. Javed Sheikh has ventured in many different forms of acting and films, not limiting himself to just Pakistani films and big screen.

Vijay Mishra is an Indian actor, who majorly works in the Hindi cinema or Bollywood and the Bhojpuri cinema. Vijay Mishra has starred in many small scale Bollywood films from the year 2001. He gained a lot of fame for his role in Mrs. Pammi Pyaarelal. In the year 2001, his first-ever Bollywood film, EkLootera. The film received a below-average response. In the year 2005, he played a part in the movie, Riddle, which features the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.

Masood Akhtar is a professional actor and director in the Hindi film industry. He is known for his performance in Om Shanthi Om in the year 2007, Kahaani in the year 2012 and in the American comedy-drama film The Hundred-Foot Journey which released in the year 2014. He has acted in about 50 movies predominantly in Hindi. Masood Akhtar is associated with films, theatre, and television series for about 36 years. He is also involved with IPTA, a theatre group since 1979. As a director, some of Masood Akhtar's notable television serials are Nukkad, Mirza Galib, Intezaar, and Swabhimaan. As an actor, he has given quality movies with film directors like Satyajit Ray, M. S. Sathyu, Gulzar, Shyam Benegal, Kundan Shah, Aparna Sen, Gautham Ghosh and even international directors including Christopher Morahan, Roland Joffe and many more.

Pavan Malhotra is a famous actor and is seen on television and in the Indian movies. He was born on July 1958 and has worked in many movies and dramas. He has played lead roles in many movies and has also fetched many awards. His work in the movie Bagh Bahadur has made him able to win the National Film Award. Similarly, he also played lead roles in many other movies like the one in Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro, which was released in 1989. He not only worked in the Hindi movies, but also in Telugu movies. His role as a don of a mafia in the Telugu movie Aithe became very famous. Another Telugu famous movie named AnukoKunda Oka Roju portrayed him in the role of Tantric, and this movie also got a huge fan following.

Malhotra Pavan had graduated from the Delhi University in Arts and then, he tried his luck in the theatre. But he did not stick to theatre and moved to Mumbai very soon. Here, he entered into the Television industry and initially performed in some TV series. His first series was Ye Jo Hai Zindagi in 1984, and then he got a role in the series Nukkad on Doordarshan channel. He has also performed the role of an intelligence officer in the recently released movie named as Bang Bang. The viewers and fans of Malhotra Pavan have appreciated this role played by him
