Ekta Kapoor; a legendry producer in Indian TV and film industry was born on 7 June 1975 in India. She is basically the creative director and Joint Managing Director of her production company Balaji Telefilms. She is the daughter of Shobha Kapoor and actor Jeetendra. Tusshar Kapoor, his brother is also working in Bollywood movies. She completed her early studies from Bombay Scottish School Mahim and went to college Mithibai.

Ms. Kapoor has produced many wonderful soap opera, unforgettable movies and long remembered tv series. Kasturi, Kabhii sautan Kabhi Sahelii, Hum Paanch, Kasautii Zindagii Ki, Kahiin to Hoga, Miya Fauj mein Biwi Mauj Mein, Kkavyanjali, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kkusum, Kitani Mohabbat Hai, Kutumb, Tere Liye, Bandini, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka and Kya Hua Tera Vaada are some of her most likeable soap operas. Presently, she is working on Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Pavitra Bandha, Pavitra Rishta and Ye Hai Mohabbatein.

Ekta began her Bollywood career as producer in 2001 started with Kyo Kii Main Jhuth Nahi Bolta and Kucch to hai. Her one of the very famous movie Krishna Cottage broke many records and still remains most favorite. She is also known by her block buster movies Once Upon a time in Mumbai, Dirty Picture, Shootout at Wadala, Once Upon a time in Mumbai dobara, Eik Villan, C Kkompany and Ek Thi Daayan.
 

Shobha Kapoor is a film and television producer from India and the Managing Director of the much acclaimed Balaji Telefilms, a serial production house based in Mumbai. It is now run by her talented daughter Ekta Kapoor. Shobha mainly takes care of the production and administration activities of the company. She has co-produced many cult Hindi serials such as ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ from 2000 to 2008, ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’ also from 2000 to 2008, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ from 2001 to 2008 and ‘Kaahin Kissii Roz’ from 2001 to 2004. She is married to veteran actor Jeetendra, and they have two kids, Tusshar Kapoor, and Ekta Kapoor. Shobha and Jeetendra were dating each other for 13 years before their wedding, and former was working as an air-hostess then. 

Vidya Balan is an award winning Bollywood actress who was born in Poothamkurussy, Puthur of Kerala. Her birthday is 1st of January in 1978. Her parents are Saraswathy and P. R Balan. Her elder sister is Priya Balan and her second cousin is Indian actress Priyamani. She studied at a High School in Mumbai and in 1995, at the age of sixteen, she played the role of Radhika in the first season of Ekta Kapoor's TV series named “Hum Paanch”. In her teenage, she was inspired by Indian actress Shabana Azmi and Madhuri Dixit. She studied Sociology in St. Xavier's College and completed Master's in Mumbai University. In 2003, she commenced her career in feature film industry with the Bengali movie “Bhalo Theko”. “Parineeta” (2005) was her foremost Hindi movie. There she played the role of Lalita. Parineeta was a box-office hit and Vidya received the Filmfare best actress award in 2006, for her performances in Parineeta. Later, she appeared in “Lage Raho Munna Bhai” (2006) co starred with Sanjay Dutt. In 2007, she appeared in romantic comedy film “Heyy Babyy”. Heyy Babyy is a remake of Hollywood film “Three Men and a Baby”. Vidya played the role of Isha Sahni and the movie became an overnight hit. She got the opportunity of working with director Aziz Mirza, in 2008. Aziz selected Vidya for the role of Priya, in “Kismat Konnection”. The victorious period of her career as a Hindi actress began in the year 2009. She appeared in five different successive films, including “Paa” (2009), “Ishqiya” (2010), “The Dirty Picture” (2011), Kahaani (2012). Her prominent acting skills in those roles recognized her in Hindi cinema. She has won the National Film Award for best actress (Dirty picture), five Filmfare Awards for Parineeta (2005), Paa (2009), The Dirty Picture (2011), and Kahaani (2012) and Ishqiya (2010), five Screen Awards and Padma Shri Award in 2014. Vidya Balan got married to Siddharth Roy Kapoor, the CEO of UTV Motion Pictures on 14th of December 2012 in Bandra, Mumbai.

Gautami Kapoor or Gautami Gadgil Kapoor is an Indian model and actress. She was born in Maharashtra, India and was born on 21st June 1974. Her zodiac sign is cancer. She was married to a photographer Madhur Shroff whom she divorced. After that she married Mr. Ram Kapoor on 14th February 2003. She is a mother of two children Aks' and Sia.

She also did many supporting roles in bollywood movies for different big bannered films. In 1999 she acted as Mayuri in “Bindhast” movie. In 2003 she played the role of Pony in “Kuch Na Kaho”. She also worked in “Fanaa” movie in 2006 as Ruby. She too worked in “Student of the Year” as a wife of her husband Ram Kapoor in 2012. Pritish Nandy is a prominent Indian poet, journalist, painter, politician, media and TV personality, activist, and a film producer. He was born in a Bengali family on January 15, 1951, in Bhagalpur, State of Bihar, India, to Prafulla Nalini Nandy and Satish Chandra Nandy. His brother, Ashis Nandy, is a political psychologist and a critic. He studied at La Martiniere College and later attended Presidency College in Kolkata. His collection of poems entitled ‘Of Gods and Olives,’ was published in the year 1967.

One of the most recognized young director of Indian cinema. In fact, he is the most versatile person in the industry as of now. He is Farhan Akhtar, a film director, actor, singer, writer, producer, screenwriter everything you name it, he has it. Son of the famous writer Javed Akhtar & actress Honey Irani was born on 09 Jan, 1974 in Mumbai. 

As he was growing, he found the film industry around him. At home, the atmosphere of arts, literature influenced him to become creative man. He considers Robert Di Niro as his inspiration for his life & career & respects his parents for the heritage he got & continues to do better work. He has a production company named Excel Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. established with Ritesh Sidhwani. 

He directed a 12 min short film named Positive, 2007 based on HIV-AIDS, to create awareness about the problem. He did sing for Rock On which showed his versatility. He has also launched a social campaign named MARD – Men against Rape & Discrimination.

Vir is a stand-up comedian and actor. He is known for his role in Badmaash Company and Delhi Belly. Vir was born in Dehradun, India on 31 May 1979 but lived in Africa. He did his studies from Indian Language School in Lagos, Nigeria and later got his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Theatre from Knox University, Illinois and after that got accepted into Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Ram Kapoor is an acclaimed and renowned television and film actor. Born on 1st September, 1973, he studied at Scottish High School in Mumbai, and Sherwood College, a boarding school in Nainital. He discovered his talent for acting early in his life and played the lead role in an annual theatrical production at school. He studied acting at the Stanislavski Academy in Los Angeles.

Hariharan is a renowned Indian singer, who sings mainly for Hindi and Tamil films. Born in 1955, he is a well-known Ghazal singer. He was also instrumental in bringing fusion music to India. 

Colonial Cousins is the name given to Hariharan’s band, wherein he collaborated with Lesle Lewis. This band was featured in many private albums. Not only this, they have also composed music for a few movies in Hindi and Tamil. 

Hariharan is born and brought up in Mumbai and he is well-versed in Tamil, Malayalam, English and Hindi. Hariharan is the offspring of famous Carnatic vocalists H.A.S. Mani and Shrimati Alamelu. Hariharan inherited the music skills from his mother. Hindustani music was made known to him in his youth. Hariharan indeed, took great efforts to reach the position that he is in today; he used to practice singing for 13 hours.

The song “Thamizha Thamizha” from the movie Roja was an instant hit and Hariharan, who sung it was awarded the “Best Male Playback Singer” in the Tamil Nadu State Government Film Awards. 

Hariharan was introduced into the Tamil film industry by A R Rahman, who was also a newbie at that time. Since then, the duo created magic with soul stirring songs in films, including Minsara Kanavu, Jeans, Indian, Muthu, Taal, Mudhalvan, Iruvar, Indira, Rangeela, Alaipayuthey, Kannathil MuthamIttal, Sivaji etc. Hariharan is credited with the Padma Shri Award and has received National awards for a couple of times. Hariharan is the proud singer of around 700 songs. He had also sung in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali and Marathi.

Purab Kohli is an Indian model, Video Jockey (VJ) and TV and movies actor. His birth date is 23 Feb, 1979. He had done his schooling in various schools such as The Bishop’s and St Stanislaus in Pune. He also left his dream of becoming a pilot and finally went into modeling. He has been working in the industry since 2003. His first TV show was Hip Hip Hurray that was telecasted on Zee TV in which he played the role of Mazhar. Then he worked in a travel show which was Gone India in which he used to go at many places in India in limited budget and gained popularity from it. He also did work as a VJ for Channel V. After came music show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar where he hosted the show, besides that he also hosted the show Terra Quiz as well for National Geographic Channel.

Also he had worked in advertisements of various brands like Colgate, Compaq, Castrol, Pizza Hut and various other brands. He had worked in almost twenty movies till date. Bas Yun Hi was his debut film and then Supari, Vaastu Shastra, 13th Floor, My Brother…Nikhil, it got him recognition in the industry after which he got his entrance in the Bhatt camp with movie Woh Lamhe and then in Awarapan he played role of villain Munna. Rock On!! movie character was one of his most acclaimed performances in which he played the role of KD (Killer Drummer) along with names like Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal that got him Special Jury Mention at 2009 Filmfare Awards.  He also worked with Gul Panag in Turning 30 and Fatso! and in his both vibrant roles he charmed the audience for sure. His latest film Jal released in 2014 was based on life a villagers who struggle for water which was also screened at Cannes Film Festival. He also tried his skills in dancing in seventh season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, a dance reality show being telecasted COLORS TV. He also shifted to Goa from Mumbai stating that it’s impossible living in Mumbai due to noise, pollution and traffic.
