1. Aamna Sharif

Aamna Sharif is an Indian Movie Actress and Hindi Television Actress. She was born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her father is an Indian and her mother is a Persian-Bahraini. She has completed her studies from St. Anne's High School, Bandra. She aspired to be a fashion designer.

When she is in the 2nd year of her college, she got many offers from the modeling field. She acted in so many commercials like Nescafe, Clearsil Skin Cream, Emami Cosmetic Cream, Close-Up Toothpaste and Beetel mobile Phones etc. She appeared in many music video albums like Shael's "Nachana Kamal Tera"," Daler Mehndi's "Eh Le 100 Rupiya", Falguni Pathak's "Yeh Kisne Jadoo Kiya” and Abhijeet's "Chalney Lagin Hain Hawain". She started her career in Television with "Kahiin Toh Hoga"(2003), a daily soap in which she played a support role produced by Balaji Telefilms. This show was a success and got highest ratings of all time on all TV shows. One of the reasons for its success is the chemistry of Rajeev Khandelwal and Aamna Sharif. After proving her acting skills in TV, she tried her hand in Bollywood.

She got a chance to act opposite Aftab Shivdasani in "Aloo Chaat" in 2009. She also acted in "Aao Wish Karein" in the same year with Aftab Shivdasani. Again she returned to act in TV Serials as the lead female role in "Hongey Judaa Na Hum". But the show was stopped midway due to poor TRPs. She acted in "Punar Vivah - Ek Nayi Umeed" as Komal and "Hongey Judaa Na Hum". She is the brand ambassador for Bharat Plaza, Dress line, Kangan Fashion Jewellery, Sweet Dreams and Gem and Jewellery Creation. Later, she acted in "Shakal Pe Mat Ja", a Hindi movie in 2011. Recently she acted in "Ek Villain"(2014) in the role of homemaker as the wife of Riteish Deshmukh (negative role) always troubled by the main hero Siddharth.

She got so many awards like Favorite Behen, Favorite Jodi, Best Fresh New Face (Female),Best Onscreen Couple in 2004, Favorite Patni Logitech Style Icon of the Year (Female) in 2005,Favorite Behen, Logitech Style Icon of the Year (Female), Best Actor (Female) in 2006, Favorite Comeback on Television 2013 at 19th Lions Gold Awards.

She was married to her long time boyfriend "Amith Kapoor"(producer) on 27th December 2013. He is the son of Shabnam Kapoor, who is a producer. She likes Solitaire rings, purses, Perfumes and Omega watches. Her all-time favourite actor is Shah Rukh Khan and movies are Dil Toh Pagal Hai and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Her favourite food is ice-cream. Her strength is her mother. Her most memorable moment is when she appeared first on the TV screen.

5. Zakir Hussain

Zakir Hussain is a veteran and prominent film and television actor from India. He was famous for doing comedic and negative roles and his best performance was from the dramatic film, Sarkar in 2005 where he played the role of Rasheed; a don from Dubai. Followed by this is the 2007 neo-noir film, Johnny Gaddaar by Sriram Raghavan. He is Shardul, one of the gang that operates a gambling club along with Vikram (played by Neil Nitin Mukesh), Prakash (played by Vinay Pathak), Swshadri (played by Dharmendra) and Shiva (played by Dayanand Shetty). He was notably remembered by every people on the street and they started to call him Shardul. This is the film that pays him well and gained him so much fame.


Zakir was born and raised up in the village of Janikhurd Tehsil in the district of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He got fascinated with theaters and cinema when he was studying in New Delhi. And then, he initiated his career in a small time theater and later he joined a group in Mandi House called, Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts. Afterwards, he also joined the respected National School of Drama and had a graduation in year 1993.


After performing in theaters for few years, he moved to Mumbai to work as a television and film actor. He first speared in serials like Kitty Party, Firdaus and Gaatha from which he gained a lot of recognition. His first film was Ek Hasina Thi in 2004 under the production of Ram Gopal Varma, from which he played the character of Sanjiv Nanda. From this film, Zakir appeared in two scenes only, but the director was impressed by is acting so he offered him the role of Rasheed in the film, Sarkar. His character as a villain was acclaimed and he got the New Menace Award in Stardust Film Awards in 2006. Since then, he started to appear in most of Varma’s productions.


Aside from acting, he is also a brilliant percussionist and he sings well. Some of the films that he did include Dishyen, Kala Juma, D, D, James, Shiva, The Killer, Deadline: Sirf 24 Ghante, Risk, Fool n Final, Darling, Contract, Radio and a lot more. Some of his recent films are Hoiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty where he played the role of Alvin D’Souza, the Bollywood action film Singham Returns and the upcoming thriller film, Chaarfutiya Chhokare.


He was also roped in to do the character of Anand Upadhyay (Yudh’s companion) in the psychological mini-serial, Yudh in 2014.

6. Raghubir Yadav

Raghubir Yadav is an Indian movie, television and stage actor born on 25 June, 1957 in Jabalpur. He is also a singer, music composer and set designer. His debut film in the industry was Massey Sahib (1985) in which he played the title role of movie. He has been awarded with two International Awards being Best Actor in FIPRESCI Critic's Award in 1986 and the Best Actor Silver Peacock, IIFI in 1987. It is quite unusual that an artist with that much talent in so many areas has not received a National Award. Raghubir Yadav is from the 1977 batch at National School of Drama, New Delhi and has specialization in stagecraft. About his journey, he has worked as a singer and actor in more than 70 plays and had done almost 2500 live shows with Parsi Theatre Company starting at an age of 15 from 1967 to 1973 where they used to go from one village to another, cities and towns in caravans. After this he shifted to Rangoli Puppet Theatre for 1 year and used to perform with glove puppets. In National School of Drama, he was part of 40 plays and did more than 2000 shows and also showed his art in costume, mask and set designing. He had worked in many legendary films out of which three got nominations for Academy Awards in Best Foreign Language film.

                                              

Raghubir Yadav’s most applauded role was of a drug addict Chillum in Salaam Bombay and he also worked in Firaaq and in Dear Friend Hitler as the lead. In the music department, he has contributed a lot to the film industry. He had worked in movies such as Delhi-6 as narrator of Ramleela based on a story of a boy coming from foreign to his grandmother, Ramji Londonwaley based on a villager cook’s journey in London and Darna Mana Hai, a school teacher in this horror movie made by Ram Gopal Verma based on six horror stories, Aaja Nachle story of a London returned choreographer to save the dance theatre from getting demolished by her talent, Gandhi To Hitler, Thanks Maa, Peepli Live based on a poor farmer and him becoming famous in media due to his confession to suicide. He also sang the title track of Chacha Chaudhary serial. His song, Mehngai Dayain in Peepli Live was acclaimed by audiences due to its words and presence in society.

 

He has given voice to various ads such as Coke, Vim, Pepsi, Parle, Kotak Mahindra, Icy Cool, Maggie Mania, Britannia and several others. He has also composed Music for Ghashiram Kotwal and Chacha Chaudhary. He composed and sang the Maggie Mania and conceived, written & composed Raamleela for movie Delhi-6. One of his recent collaborations is the one in which he sang with Hitesh Sonik the song Lamh Tera in the episode of MTV Coke Studio Season 2.

 

He started his television career with the show Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne (1990), in which he played the lead character 'Mungerilal'. After that he did the role of Haji Nasruddin in show Mulla Naseeruddin and lead in the TV show Chacha Chaudhary based on famous Intelligent Indian comic character Chacha Chaudhary whose mind works faster than computer and gained popularity especially amongst children. He also played the title role in Arjun Pandit. His recent movie project was Piku co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone as Dr. Shrivastava. Raghuvir Yadav has been in depression due to his first wife Poornima from which he got separated but she kept on harassing him for money and also due to behavior of his son Achal towards him. He said music was his sole support in the days of depression.
