Gauhar Khan or Gauahar Khan or Gauahar Zafar Khan is known for her career as Bollywood actress and a model. She was born in Pune, Maharashtra, India and was born on 23rd August 1983 in a Muslim family, where she is one of the five siblings. She is the sister of famous television actress Nigaar Khan and the youngest of five sisters. She completed her schooling from Mount Carmel Convent High School, Lullanagar, Pune.
Gauhar Khan has been doing modeling for Payal Jain, Neeta Lulla, Ritu Kumar, Manish Malhotra. She appeared in a number of advertisements for Bajaj Auto, Tanishq jewelry, Opel Car and Ford Ikon. In 2002, she was a contestant in Femina Miss India. She stood fourth and was honored with the title of Miss India Talented. She also appeared in the contest of Miss International in 2004. She made an appearance in music videos of Bombay Vikings, Hawa Mein Udti Jaye. In the year of 2009 she too was a contestant in the India’s famous celebrity show of Dance, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in season 3 and she was the finalist on the show. She represented herself in the Television show The Khan Sisters in which her sister Nigaar Khan also participated. In 2013, she participated and won the famous Indian celebrity show Bigg Boss Season 7. She was a part of another reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. She is currently hosting a singing talent show India’s Raw Star with Yo Yo Honey Singh.
Khan made her debut as an Actress in Bollywood in 2009 with the Yash Raj in Rocket Singh and her co-star was Ranbir Kapoor. She did small roles in various films such as Game (2011), and Ishaqzaade (2012). She did item number Naa Pere Kanchan Mala in Shankar Dada M.B.B.S. (2004), Nasha Nasha in Aan: Men at Work (2004), Parda Parda in Once Upon a Time in Mumbai (2010) and Jhalla Walla and Chakra Jawaan in Ishaqzaade (2012).
Earlier, she was involved with Nihar Pandya. She is currently dating Kushal Tandon, a co-contestant in Bigg Boss 7. They were also together in Song Zaroori Tha by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

Salil Ankola, born on March 1, 1968, and a resident of Solapur in Maharashtra is a former Indian International cricketer who played one Test match and twenty One Day Internationals from 1989 to 1997 for India. He was a first-class cricketer for Maharashtra who commenced the bowling. His excellent performances landed him in the Indian ODI team during 1993. But being a poor fielder he was removed. At the age of 28, Ankola entered the Indian television industry.
He made his cinematic debut in the movie, Kurukshetra in 2000. He played the role of a cop accompanying the senior officer played by, Sanjay Dutt. “Pitaah” was the next release in 2002 and later was “Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne” in 2003. “Silence Please...The Dressing Room” counts among the films he has starred in.
The small screen welcomed him in the show “Kehta Hai Dil” from 2002 where he played the role of special investigation officer Shakti Singh Rana. The show spirals around the character Karishma and how she handles difficult situations in her life.
His second show was “Karam Apnaa Apnaa” from August 29, 2006 as Mahen Kapoor. The story is about a girl, Gauri who is asked to marry the guy chosen by Mahen, her father’s best friend. Ankola appeared in Bigg Boss during his contract period with Balaji Telefilms which affected his career a lot.
Ankola was casted in the CID Special Bureau show as Senior Inspector from 11 March 2004. He says, “I played Special Investigation Officer in Kehta Hai Dil and co-incidentally I am playing it again in CID Special Bureau.”
“Ssshhhh...Koi Hai”, an Indian thriller television show began on 27 July, 2001. Salil Ankola played the role of Vikraal, a ghost exterminator, in this spooky series. “Vikraal Aur Gabraal” is an extension of this series, where Vikraal, played by Salil Ankola, teaches Gabraal to catch ghosts.
Thus, Salil Ankola played varying roles during his career and continues to be counted among the finest jewels of the Indian television industry.
