Shreya Ghoshal, one of the most famous singers in Bollywood today, was born on March 12th, 1984, in Berhampore, West Bengal. Her father Biswajit Ghoshal is an electrical engineer and mother Sharmistha Ghoshal is a postgraduate in literature. She started singing since the age of 4 when her mother taught her. She started her formal training in Hindustani classical Gharana of music when she was only six years old. She was trained for 18 months after which she continued her training in Mumbai with Late Mukta Bhideji. She completed her graduation in Arts with majors in English. Her first on-stage performance was at their club’s annual function. Her first studio album was in Bengali in 19998 and was named Bendhechhi Beena, and her first onscreen performance was in Awaz Nayi Andaaz Wohi. In 1995, she became the winner of All India Light Vocal Music Competition. Her fame and career began with her winning a television singing reality show named Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Tanya Hope is an Indian film actress, popular amongst the regional audience for her work in movies like Nenu Sailaja (2016), Patel S.I.R. (2017), Paper Boy (2018), Thadam (2019), Yajamana (2019), Udgarsha (2019), Amar(2019), etc. Mostly known for her supreme involvement in Hindi short films, TV shows, dramas, theatre plays, and Bollywood movies, she has often been admired by the local critics and spectators for her exceptional and impressive performances as an on-screen artist, especially her confidence, glamorous looks, expressions, and body language. Tanya has been a part of the film industry for more than five years now.

Rachita ram is a Kannada film and TV actress who marked her presence in movies like ‘Rangeela and Ambareesha’.

She was born in Karnataka although has the ancestral background in Bhopal. Her mother was a bharat natyam dancer and so is she, a well trained dancer in this particular form of dance. She has also given around 50 live dance performances.

Sudha Rani is an Indian actress in Kannada movie industry. Sudharani was born to Nagalakshmi and Gopalakrishna. She started her modeling career in print ads at the age of 3.Her mother joined her in dance classes at age 5.Sudha Rani is a Bharata Natyam and Kuchipudi dancer. Sudha Rani has featured in several critically acclaimed films in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. Films like Anand, Panchama Veda, Mysooru Mallige, Anuraga Sangama, Mannina Doniand, Sparsha etc. are some of her memorable films. Sudha Rani began her film career as a child artist in the film Kiladi Kittu in 1978.In 1989 she has acted in her first film which is Tamil and after a gap of three years she has made her debut in the Tamil film “Vasanthakala Paravai" and that was declared a hit. Following the same success she has acted more than ten Tamil films. Sudha Rani speaks Tamil fluently. She eventually appeared in Ranganayaki, directed by legendry director Puttanna Kanagal. Dr Rajkumar selected her to be the heroine of the film Anand opposite Shivrajkumar in 1986. She went on to appear in Movies as Mana Mechida Hudugi, Aasegobba Meesegobba, Midida Shruthi and Anna Tangi. She paired with noted Kannada actor Ramesh Aravind in more than eight films, including Shrigandha, Aragini, Anuraga Sangama and Panchama Veda. Sudha Rani overshadowed other leading actresses in the Kannada film industry in 1990s.

Sudha Rani got married to Sanjay, an anesthesia specialist, in the year 1999 and settled in United States. She got divorced in 2000 and later settled in India. Later she married her relative, Goverdhan and has a daughter, Nidhi.

Sandesh Nagaraj is a well-known personality from South India known for his versatile work in the country. He is originally from Mysore where he did his B.Sc. And had a very hard life then. He is known for his hotel and his primary bus transport business. He started his bus transport in 1969 known as Sandesh transport. His transport was between Mysore and Chikkamagalur via Moodigere. His first bus was named after his first childSandesh. His private bus business was nationalized in 1976 by the then chief minister D.Devraj.

Satya Hegde was born on the 17th of May in the year 1975. He was born in Haliyal, Uttar Kannada, Karnataka, India. He is attached to the Kannada Film Industry. He is a cinematographer by profession. He works mainly in Kannada films. He made his debut in this Industry as a cinematographer in the year 2002 through the movie Taali Katuuva Shubhavele. He has been a cinematographer in over twenty films in his entire career. He had reached great heights of success in 2007 and 2013 when he was a part of the movies Duniya and Mayna respectively. He had received awards for these films.

Arjun Janya is an Indian singer and music composer. In 2006, he made his debut in the industry with Kannada movie Autograph Please starring Dilip Raj and Sanjjanaa. In the south film industry, he is a score director and composer of high demand. The movies for which he composes music have done well on box-office in past. He is known for music in Sanchari and Singam. He was born on May 13, 1980, in Bengaluru, Karnataka to Anusuya and Ashwath Kumar. He learnt music from James and thinks of AR Rahman as his inspiration. It is said that a meeting between him and AR Rahman changed him and converted him into what he is today.

Kiran Kaverappa is an Indian Film Songwriter. He worked in the Kannada Film Industry. He had his debut as a Lyricist in the Film Industry with the Superhit Kannada Film Kirik Party. The film released on the 30th of May in the year 2016. This movie revolves around Karna, a first-year engineering student. He falls in love with a final-year girl Saanvi. Saanvi slowly starts liking Karna. But tragic events happen Saanvi falls off from their college hostel and dies in this accident. Karna gets moved totally and is depressed after that incident. Later Aarya, a bubbly junior enters in Karna’s life and makes it colorful again. Rishab Shetty is the Director of this film. Kirrik Party has Rakshith Shetty, Samyuktha Hegde, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.

On 22 July, 1995, Armaan Malik was born in the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is a playback singer by profession. Armaan belongs to a music family. His father, Daboo Malik, is also a singer and music director. The singer is the nephew of the famous Hindi music director, Anu Malik. Armaan has a brother, Amaal Malik, who is also a music director.

Born on 3rd October 1997, Sanjith Hegde is an Indian playback singer. Hegde belongs to “Kannadiga” family in Bangalore and he finished his college studies from CMR National PU College situated in Bangalore. Then he went on to complete his engineering from JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bangalore.

Sonu Nigam is a renowned Bollywood singer and composer. He was born on July 30, 1973 in Faridabad, Haryana. Hailing from a musical background, both his parents are singers. He is the son of singer Agam Kumar Nigam. The first performance he gave was at the tender age of 3 when he performed the song Kya Hua Tera Wada by Mohammed Rafi. Besides singing Hindi songs he has recorded songs in Kannada, Assamese, Oriya, Tamil, Bengali, Punjabi, Nepali and Marathi languages. He is amongst the top Playback singers in Bollywood and has also released a few individual pop albums. Nigam moved to Mumbai at the age of 19, to start a career in Bollywood as a singer. He is the prodigy of famous Hindustani classical singer Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan. Though he started his career by covering songs of Mohammed Rafi under the T-Series record label owned by Gulshan Kumar, his first break came in 1990 when he did playback singing in the movie called Janam. In 1995 he started hosting the popular musical TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, after which he delivered the famous single Acha Sila Diya Tune for the film Bewafa Sanam. Some of his famous tracks are Sandese Aate Hai from the movie Border (1997), Ye Dil Deewana from the movie Pardes (1997). In 1999 he released his debut album Deewana, he also sang the title track for the movie Kal Ho Na Ho. As an individual composer he has worked on movies like Singh Saab The Great, Sooper Se Ooper and Jal. Nigam has contributed in Britney Spears track I Wanna Go, and has also released a track in the album The Beat of Our Hearts as a tribute to Michael Jacskon. In his small acting career he has acted in films like Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahaani, Love In Nepal and Kaash Aap Humaare Hote. Nigam is married to Madhurima and also had a son named Neevan.

Mohan B Kere works in the Indian film industry as an Art Director. He mainly works in the Kannada Film Industry. Mohan was born on 25th May and currently lives in Bangalore, Karnataka. Mohan B Kere is married to Rekha and is the father of two children. He started his career from the film titled Krishna, which released in 2007, produced by Ramesh Yadav and directed by M. D. Sridhar. Mohan has also created the 3D painting in the field. Mohan has contributed his production designing skills in Kannada Film Industry for more than a hundred movies and still showing up in many more movies.

Imran’s story is that of heart melting, emotional and romantic drama. Overcoming the obstacle of parental and societal opposition he eloped as a teenager. Born on 28th December 1979 to late Haji Ayub, Imran Sardhariya is a well-known choreographer and a film director of the Telugu and Kannada cinema. His wife Saniya is a costume designer. His shot to fame has been with the famous song ‘Stylo Stylo’. To add to his list of accomplishments, he has about 250 songs accredited to him and also the choreography of two Telugu movies – Josh and Chalaaki.

Deepu S. Kumar is a South Indian film editor who works in the Kannada film industry. He has worked with Kannada directors like- ‘Duniya Soori’, ‘Harsha’, ‘Yograj Bhat’ and many others in movies like ‘Jackie’, ‘Bahaddur’, ‘Vajrakaya’ and many others. Deepu married Sudha Deepu on 19th August 2007 with whom he has two children. They live in Bangalore. Deepu made his film debut as a film editor with the movie ‘Mungaru Male’ written and directed by Yograj Bhat. The film hit the screens on 29th December 2006. He also worked in Bhat’s ‘Dana Kayonu’ in 2016. Deepu worked under director Duniya Soori in the film ‘Duniya’. The movie hit the screens on 23rd February 2007 and won three awards.

Sudheera Venkatesh is an Indian Film public relations officer. He commenced his journey in the year 1985. Having done 1200+ films, Sudheera boasts 35 years of experience as a Public Relations Officer, mirroring all his successes. He is the founder of Raghvendra Chitravani. The all-time best movies, “Mungaru Male” and “Dhuniya” got him recognition for his work. He is continuing Sri Raghavendra Chitravani’s legacy. Thriller Manju is a person who has left no stone unturned in the field of cinema. A multitalented person, he is a director, a stunt director, an actor and a choreographer. He was born as Manjunatha Kumar in the city of Bengaluru in Karnataka. He has been working in the Kannada Film Industry since the year 1990. Manju entered the film industry through the movie Gejja Nadu in the year 1993. He started out as an actor and did small supporting roles in movies like Jana Nayaka and Shh! a thriller film in the 1990s. After a few stints in acting, he went on to become the captain of the ship that is the director. He ventured into filmmaking in the year 1996 through a cop movie. Thriller Manju, as his name suggests, made a thrilling and racy cop flick titled Police Story. This movie, whose story and screenplay were also written by Manju, had actor Sai Kumar in the lead. It became an instant blockbuster and even today remains a trademark film. The after effect of the movie was so high that fans started to expect another similar movie from Manju, which led him to direct the sequels for this cult film. In the year 2006, after ten years of the release of the first one, Manju directed its sequel movie titled Police Story 2. This flick also had the ‘Dialogue King’ Sai Kumar in the lead. The movie opened up to mixed reviews.

Abhishek Gowda was born on October 03rd, 1993, in Bangalore, in Karnataka. His father, Late Ambareesh, was a Sandalwood actor and politician. His mother, Samantha, also a Sandalwood actress and politician. Abhinav studied at Christ University in Bangalore. Later, he went to the famous University of Westminster in London for further studies. He made his acting debut in the year 2019 with Amar alongside Tanya Hope, which was directed by Nagashekar. The movie has received a negative response from critics and audiences.

Anup is one of the most talented people that we can count in the Kannada cinema. He has commendable skills in almost all branches and processes of filmmaking. Apart from writing and direction of music, Anup is also a lyricist and a singer. Not just this, he is also a wonderful film director. 

Darshan also known as Darshan Thoogudeep is an actor from South India well known for his roles mainly in Kannada movies. He is known to be one of the most famous and credible film stars in the Kannada cinema industry.

Chikkanna was born in Ballahalli district of Mysuru city in Karnataka, India. He has been working in the show-business since 2011. He is best known for his works in the Kannada cinema. He has played many comic roles in various south Indian films. He debuted on television in a Mysore-based comedy show, titled Drishya Kalavide.

Deepak Shetty is an Indian Film Actor. He works in the Kannada and Telugu Film Industry. Deepak started his career as an actor in the Film Industry with Kannada Film named Srikanta. The film released on the 6th of January in the year 2017. The story of the film revolves around Srikanta who works in small petty illegal activities. He gives a lift to Shashi, a journalist en-route to Agumbe. They both talk and share their life experiences in their journey. Manju Swaraj is the director of this film. The film has Shiva Rajkumar, Chandni Sreedharan, Vijay Raghavendra, Achyutha Kumar, and Deepak Shetty in the main roles.

Devaraj is a Kannada actor who works in theatre and film industry. He has worked in Tamil and Telugu film industries as well during his career spanning more than 25 years. He was born on 20th September 1960, in Bangalore. He worked in HMT for 9 years before he started his Sandalwood journey.

His initial days were with B Jayashree’s theatre group Spandana and later with famed Sanket, Shankar Nag’s group till he entered world of cinema. His first on screen appearance was in Koogu by Shankar Nag. His first release was 27 Mavalli in 1986, where he played a villain and got appreciated for his performance. He continued doing many villain roles as well as police roles, getting almost branded as ‘policeman’. His police role movies include Lockup Death, Golibaar, Circle Inspector and many more. His first lead role was in the film Aavesha which released in 1990. This film also had Shankar Nag with Devaraj. He is one of the few actors in Kannada industry to don various roles like villain, policeman, action hero and many.

He is fondly referred Dynamic Hero in the industry. He has won many awards during his long career and the highest one being the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actor for his portrayal as the feared bandit Veerappan in the 1991 film Veerappan. His non Kannada movies include Naan Kadavul, Malaikottai in Tamil and Yagnam in Telugu.

Sadhu Kokila is a Kannada actor who primarily works on comedy roles. He is also a director and music composer. Rakta Kanneeru, Om and Shhh are some of the movies that he directed and also acted. The Vijay starrer Devru was also directed by him.
Born on 24th March, 1966, Sadhu Kokila, also known as Kokila Sadhu, hails from a family of musically inclined people. His father was a violinist in a music group of Karnataka Police Department. His sister and mother are singers. Layendra, Kokila’s brother, is also an actor. Kokila pursued his schooling at St. Joseph’s Indian High School in Bangalore. Kannada star Upendra provided him with the name Sadhu Kokila. 
Kokila kickstarted his career in the film industry as a musician and eventually he was referred to Kasturi Shankar, another musician. He has the reputation of being one of the swiftest keyboard players in India. Kokila has helmed direction for 12 Kannada flicks, and 6 of them were remakes. His directorial venture Anarkali was dropped midway. 
Kokila expresses that audiences and the media question whether his films are a remake or original. He had made up his mind not to endeavor in remakes. He feels that composing music requires a lot of creativity. As far as his comedy stint is concerned, he is loved by the audience. And about acting he feels that it is exciting. Sadhu Kokila has received awards for music direction twice. 
As far as remakes are concerned Kokila is of the view that there are creative limitations. But originals are enjoyable both in the sense of creativity and visualization. Sadhu Kokila along with Doddanna make a good pair for situation comedies. Kokila is compared with Johnny Lever of Bollwyood,for his comedy skills. 
On his personal front, Kokila is wedded to Saleena. They are blessed with two sons. 

Anbu Arivu (commonly referred to as Anbariv) are Indian stunt doubles and identical twins, popular amongst the audience for their work in movies like Kammara Sambhavam (2018), Lakshyam (2017), and Achayans (2017). Mostly known for their involvement in the Tamil industry, the duo has featured in almost 80 films in different languages combined.

Nagashekar is an Indian actor and director from the South. He is known for his acting and direction in Kannada language movies. Nagashekar hails from one of the weakest sections of the society. Till now he is the only person from his village to obtain an engineering degree. Nagesh comes from a family background of specialised folk singing. Thus, right from his childhood, he was exposed to folk songs and drama. From his childhood, he actively took part in theatre and acting. He continued this even during his college days.
