Kannada Movie Review Demo Piece - Cast & Crew

Rekha, commonly called as Sparsha Rekha, is a well-known Kannada artist. She was observed by the audiences with the Kannada venture Sparsha where she shared screenspace with Sudeep. The movie was embraced by the audiences. Later she acted in Majestic.  Majestic, in which she shared space with Darshan, gained her accolades. It was her last attempt in films.

Asha Bhat was born on September 5, 1992 in Bhadravati, Karnataka. Her parents were Mr. Subrahmanya Bhat and Mrs. Shyamala Bhat, and both of them are doctors. She had an elder sister who is a famous Paediatrician in the United States. She has done her schooling from St. Charles School, Bhadravati and her intermediate education from Alvas College, Moodbidri. She also attended an IIT JEE coaching institute, Prime Academy in Pune. She joined National Cadet Corps (NCC) while being a student of Alvas College and also took part in Republic Day Camp. She also won all-rounder award in 2009, felicitated by the President of Sri Lanka on her visit to Sri Lanka Academy. She completed her graduation from the R.V. College of Engineering in Electronic Engineering.

Sonal Monterio is an Indian film actress, popular amongst the regional audience for her work in movies like Ekka Saka (2015), Jai Tuluad (2016), Maduve Dibbana (2018), Saajan Chale Sasural 2(2019), etc. Mostly known for her major involvement in Telugu short films, TV shows, and Tollywood movies, Sonal has often been admired by the spectators and critics for her exceptional expressions and body language while filming the plot sequences. 

Prasad Babu is an Actor and Assistant Director in Telugu movies. He made his debut with the movie, ‘Punadhirallu’. He has also acted in several other movies for more than three decades.

His other movies include, ‘Anthuleni Katha’ in the year 1976 which was directed by K.Balachander and starred Kamal Hasan, Rajinikanth, Jayapradha, Sripriya, Jayalakshmi and himself. Later, in 1978, he acted in another Chiranjeevi starrer movie ‘Manavoori Pandavulu’ which also had other actors namely Allu Ramalingaiah, Rao Gopalrao, Murali Mohan and  Krishnam Raju. The movie was directed by Bapu. After a gap of about 4 years, he acted in yet another movie with Chiranjeevi and other actors like SatyaNarayana Kaikala, Radhika Sarathkumar, Gummadi and  Eeshwar Rao which was titled Mondighatam (1982). Apart from these 2 movies, he has worked with Chiranjeevi on many other films such as ‘Hero’, ‘Rudra Veena’, ‘Pasivaadi Praanam’, ‘Trinethrudu’, ‘Aapathbaandavudu’, ‘Kodama Simham’, ‘Yamudiki mogudu’, ‘Jathara’, ‘Aarani Mantalu’ and ‘Mechanic Alludu’.

He has also had the chance to work with NTR for the movie, ‘Bobbili Puli’ in the year 1982. This movie also starred the famous actress Sridevi and was directed by Dasari Narayan Rao. His movie with Mahesh Babu named ‘Murari’ which also starred Sonali Bendre in the lead role was also a big hit in the year 2001. 

He has also acted with various other actors from Tollywood such as Rajendra Prasad, Vijay Shanthi, Raghuvaran, Mohan Babu, Sarath Babu, Shoban Babu, Meena, Nagma, etc. He is one of the actors who has had the ability to portray various roles with ease.

Nagarjun Sharma is a Screenplay writer and Lyricist. Nagarjun Sharma was born in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. After completing his schooling, he went to Bangalore University to pursue his graduation in commerce. Upon completing his graduation, Nagarjun Sharma grabbed a job at Tesco. Despite of being in a well-paid job, he left it to become a full-time lyricist. He has written several songs for Kannada films. His first release was Tili Sanje from Operation Alamelamma (2017) the audience applauded. Nagarjuna has worked in the Sandalwood Entertainment Industry as a lyricist.

Chandan is a South Indian playback singer, rapper, lyricist, composer and music director. He is also known as Kannada Rapper Chandan Shetty. He was born on 17th September 1989 in Sakleshpur in the Hassan district of Karnataka. He has written lyrics for about 30 songs, sang more than 45 songs and worked as an assistant music director for about 40 Kannada movies.

Rajesh Krishnan is an eminent Indian playback singer and actor by profession. Rajesh was born on 3rd June 1973 in Bangalore, India. He started his learning of his field at home itself, his mother Meera Krishnan was her first Guru. He was married to Soumya Rao a Singer, then to Haripriya, who is a dentist and Ramya Vasishta a TV anchor and singer by profession. Rajesh started his career with composer Hamsalekha as a track singer under his guidance.

Born on 3rd October 1997, Sanjith Hegde is an Indian playback singer. Hegde belongs to “Kannadiga” family in Bangalore and he finished his college studies from CMR National PU College situated in Bangalore. Then he went on to complete his engineering from JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bangalore.

Madan and Harini is a duo of Indian choreographers who have worked in Kannada and Tulu films. The pair has choreographed for almost 200 films and hence they are among the best choreographers in Kannada cinema. Years ago, without any money they shifted to Bangalore in search of work from Puttur in Dakshina Kannada, which is their hometown. And they made it to the film industry. They learned classical dances of India from Guru Rajarathnam Pillai and during the dance classes, they fell in love and later got married. The duo got their first project from Aryamtha Pattabhi for the movie “Nadaswaroopi.”

Venki U.D.V is a film editor known for his work in movies like Striker(20019), Chemistry of Kariyappa(2019), Karva(2016). Venki currently resides at Bangalore, India. He is known for his editing expertise in the Kannada film industry. He is a graduate from Tumkur University of Karnataka state.

Sudheera Venkatesh is an Indian Film public relations officer. He commenced his journey in the year 1985. Having done 1200+ films, Sudheera boasts 35 years of experience as a Public Relations Officer, mirroring all his successes. He is the founder of Raghvendra Chitravani. The all-time best movies, “Mungaru Male” and “Dhuniya” got him recognition for his work. He is continuing Sri Raghavendra Chitravani’s legacy. A few big names such as “Hombale films”; “Rockline Productions”; “Pushkar Films”; “And SV Productions” are permanent clients. With Fluency in 5 Indian languages, Sudheera Venkatesh has worked on assignments beyond Karnataka in his era. His noble works were awarded, the Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Kempe Gowda award, Nagara Jilla Kannada Sahitya Prashasthi, and many more. It is an honor to know about such a multi-talented personality.

Bharath Bopanna was born on 07 September 1992 to a Kodava family in Madikeri, Karnataka. Bharath Bopanna is an Indian actor and model who mainly works in the Kannada film industry. He started his career with Girija Kalyana Kannada serial. He has gained immense popularity for his role as Lucky in the family drama Bramhagantu, which is the remake of Hindi serial Badho Bahu.

Rockline Sudhakar is an Indian actor and veteran comedian in the Kannada Industry. Before starting his career as an actor, he was the production manager of Rockline Production. Thus it prefixed to his name. Sudhakar worked in almost thirty movies as a production controller for Rockline Production. Rockline Production’s owner is Rockline Venkatesh, who is a well-known producer in the Kannada Industry.
