1. Shweta Mohan
Shweta Mohan is a female playback singer in Indian cinema who is also the daughter of playback singer Sujatha Mohan. Like her mother, she also had sung in various languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. She was born on 19 November 1985 in Chennai. In fact, earlier she was a bit hesitant to take up singing as her career. But as she sung, she enjoyed singing very much. Had not she been in singing, she could have opted for doing MBA and got settled other way.

The actress belongs to an Iyer family from Tamil Nadu. Her ancestors moved to Bengaluru some hundred years ago. This is why she also calls herself a proud Kannadiga.
In her growing up years, the actress aimed to be a doctor. She was interested in Behavioral Sciences. Her schooling was done from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bengaluru. She did her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Jain University, Benguluru. She contributed a lot to help children with mental illnesses like autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and learning disabilities. She was actively involved with renowned mental health organizations and did extensive research in the field of mental health.
Her journey in the glamor world began with modeling. She started modeling by chance. It was then she realized that she was interested in the art. She first featured in a commercial for a jewelry brand. After that, she appeared in a short film in Kannada named Carrot Halwa.
Namratha made her movie debut in 2015 in the Kannada movie Mirchi Mandakki Kadak Chai. The movie was produced and directed by Sanjotha Prashanth. It was Sanjotha’s first movie as well. The story of the flick revolved around the lives of a girl and two boys. It was of the comedy genre.
In 2016, the actress was seen in the Telugu film Seesa. It was made by director Mohamad Issack and had actors Chesvaa and Sivaji other than Namratha. The movie was a remake of Agadam, a Tamil movie, which has a Guinness World Record in its kitty for being the longest uncut movie.
The actress was part of another Kannada rom –com movie, titled Ka. It was directed by Sai Krishna. It was a multi-starrer, starring newcomers such as Sharath, Manu, Madhukar, Shine, Mahesh, Raghuram, Pavitra, Deepa, Nayina, among others. It was the first anthology film in Kannada.
The actress also forayed into direction. She worked as an assistant director for the film Geleyara Gelathiyare. The movie’s director was Sai Krishna. They both worked together on the movie Ka as well.
Namratha believes that there is more to acting than just delivering dialogues. She also hopes to continue working to help mentally ill patients in the future.

Deepa Gowda is an Indian actress, who is predominantly working in Kannada industry. She never had plans to enter this industry, although, her sister Rani Gowda had tried entering the film industry but couldn't get through her break. Deepa had studied Hotel Management and was working in the Hotel when Raghavendra Kumar spotted her and asked her to try acting as she is a tall girl and looks good. Her parents were against it as they wanted her to continue with the job and get settled, but destiny had different plans for her.
