Supriya Lohith is an Indian playback singer who has captivated the audience with her mellifluous voice in soundtracks for more than fifty movies over the past decade. Her eloquence in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Tulu has made her an eminent figure in the south Indian music industry. Born in Bangalore, Karnataka, she began singing on stage at local events from a tender age of six.

Song ‘Ramba Ho’ from the movie Armaan mesmerizes all of us today also and that masculine voice of legendary lady Usha Uthup thrill the listeners.

Usha Uthup was born on 7 November 1947 in a Tamil Brahmin family in Mumbai. She did her education from St.Agnes High School, Mumbai and she has sung in 15 Indian Languages and Various Foreign Languages. Her next door neighbours daughter Jamila, inspired her to learn Hindi which later helped her to create a brand of Indian Pop in 70s.

She explored Indian music to new height by singing the songs in her own style which later became Usha Uthup style. Started her career by singing in night club in Kolkata, Usha became the first Indian Pop singer. Seeing her performance in a five star hotel Shashi Kapoor offered her to sing in films.

In 1968, Usha Uthup sang English Pop song and interviewed by BBC Radio London. Uthup sang several song for music director R.D.Burman and Bappi Lahiri.

Some of famous songs sang by Usha Uthup are Hari Om Hari (Pyaara Dushman), Shaan se (Shaan), Ek Do Cha Cha Cha (Shalimar), Koi Yha Aha Nache Nache (Disco Dancer) and Darling (Saat Khoon Maaf).

Usha Uthup has received several awards like Padma Shri, Best Female Play Back Singer for song Darling, 4 Kalakar awards in the year (1999, 2002, 2004, 2013) respectively. She is married to Jani Chacko Uthup.The couple has two children's,daughter Angeli and son sunny.

B. Jayashree is a Kannada actress, singer, and a director. She was born on June 9, 1950, in Bengaluru, India. Her father was Basavaraj, who was also an actor. Her mother was Malathamma. Her grandfather, Gubbi Veeranna was also an actor and a director. Her grandfather started the Gubbi Veeranna Nataka Company.

Poornachandra Tejaswi was an Indian writer and novelist, popular amongst the readers and viewers for his work in movies like Abachoorina Post Office, Kubi Mattu Iyala, Kiragoorina Gayyaligalu, Tabaran Kathe and his other literary works. Mostly known for his pre-dominant involvement in the Kannada literature, writing novels, short stories dramas, and pieces of criticism, he made a significant impression in the Navya period and inaugurated the Bandaya movement. Born on 8th September 1938 in Kupalli, Shivamogga, Karnataka, Tejaswi was the son of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu.

Born in Bangalore, Karnataka, Dharmendra Vishakantaiahis an Indian music producer, composer, and songwriter. He has created music for Indian movies in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada language. At the age of 8, he began his musical training from Pandith Sri Hemanth Kumar.

Avinash Chebbi is a playback singer from Karnataka, India. He has sung two songs in Kannada; his first song was from the movie Murali Meets Meera while his second song was from Sidlingu. Both of his songs are super hit. He has achieved awards for his songs like SIIMA award and BIG Male Singer Award - BIG 92.7 FM for "Nee Naadhe Naa" from Murali Meets Meera, Film Fare award for his song "Ellelo Oduva Manase" from Sidlingu, and more. He is one of the finest Kannada singer, who has received many awards for his first two songs. 

Master Mahendran is a popular child actor, who turned to be a hero through the movie Vizha. Master Mahendran was born in the year 1991 in Hyderabad. His career as a child artist started from his third age through the movie Naatamai. He has acted in more than a century of movies as a child artist. He got the Tamilnadu State Award for the Best Child Artist for the movie Thaikulame Thaikulame, starred by Pandiya Rajan.

He was still popular for his child role in the movie Aaha, which got released in the year 1997. In this movie he acted as Bhanu Priya and Raghuvaran’s son, who is very mischievous. He acted in almost all the south Indian language movies. In 1998, he acted in Minsara Kanna with Vijay, as his younger brother. For his performance in the Telugu movie Little Hearts, he bagged the Andhra Government’s Nandi Award for the Child Actor in the year 2000. He appeared in the 3D movie, Magic Magic with S. P. Balasubramanyam.

After a few years gap, he acted as an adolescent boy in the movies like Mudhal Kadhal Mudhal Mazhai and Jaggubai. In Jaggubai, the Sarathkumar movie, he acted as the friend of Shriya Saran. He made his debut as a hero in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously through the movies Vizha and First Love. Though that movie did not get a good recognition, he stayed as a hero. After that movie, he acted in Endrumae Anandham and Vindhai. Vindhai is a different story and this movie has the child artist, Manishajith as the heroine. Master Mahendran's next Tamil films are Aaki and Porida Pazhagu.

Born on 28th December 1979 to late Haji Ayub, Imran Sardhariya is a well-known choreographer and a film director of the Telugu and Kannada cinema. His wife Saniya is a costume designer. His shot to fame has been with the famous song ‘Stylo Stylo’. To add to his list of accomplishments, he has about 250 songs accredited to him and also the choreography of two Telugu movies – Josh and Chalaaki.

Madan and Harini is a duo of Indian choreographers who have worked in Kannada and Tulu films. The pair has choreographed for almost 200 films and hence they are among the best choreographers in Kannada cinema. Years ago, without any money they shifted to Bangalore in search of work from Puttur in Dakshina Kannada, which is their hometown. And they made it to the film industry. They learned classical dances of India from Guru Rajarathnam Pillai and during the dance classes, they fell in love and later got married. The duo got their first project from Aryamtha Pattabhi for the movie “Nadaswaroopi.”

Sudheera Venkatesh is an Indian Film public relations officer. He commenced his journey in the year 1985. Having done 1200+ films, Sudheera boasts 35 years of experience as a Public Relations Officer, mirroring all his successes. He is the founder of Raghvendra Chitravani. The all-time best movies, “Mungaru Male” and “Dhuniya” got him recognition for his work. He is continuing Sri Raghavendra Chitravani’s legacy. Manu Joseph is a Malayalam journalist and writer, born on 22 July 1974 in Kottayam, Kerala, and grew up in Chennai. He is the son of Joseph Madapally, a filmmaker who directed the Malayalam film Thoranam. He graduated from Loyola College in Chennai. Joseph joined Society magazine as a staff writer after dropping out of Madras Christian College. He has worked as a columnist for several print outlets, such as The International New York Times and The Hindustan Times, and is also the former editor of the OPEN magazine. In 2014, he resigned from the editorship of the magazine. His debut novel Serious Men won many awards: The Hindu Literary Prize, Huffington Post′s 10 Best Books of the Year in 2010, and PEN Open Book Award and was adopted as a feature film directed by Sudhir Mishra.

Dhruv Sharma was a deaf Indian cricketer and an actor, he worked in the Kannada film industry. He had a decade-long successful career in cricket as well as in acting. He was born in 1982 in Bangalore, Karnataka. Working for the Kannada film industry, he was a part of movies like Snehanjali, The Hit List, and Hum Tum Dushman Dushman.

Dileep Raj is an Indian Actor, Director, and a Producer, who predominantly works in Kannada Film Industry. He has worked in over 24 films. He was born in Bangalore, Karnataka. He completed his education at Bangalore. He always showed keen interests in Drama and Theatre. During his college days, he used to make short Films and entered in various competitions too. Kaddipudi Chandru is an actor as well a producer for Kannada films. In 2010, he was seen playing the role of Tulasi in a film called ‘Jackie.' It was an action film that was released on 14 October 2010 in India. It was written and directed by Soori and starred Puneeth Rajkumar, Bhavana, and Harshika Poonacha as the main cast. In 2010, he also produced a film called ‘Swayamvara.' He also produced ‘Kaddipudi’ in 2013. In 2015, he was seen in an action-crime-drama film called ‘Arjuna’ which was released on 25 September 2015 in India.

Sadhu Kokila is a Kannada actor who primarily works on comedy roles. He is also a director and music composer. Rakta Kanneeru, Om and Shhh are some of the movies that he directed and also acted. The Vijay starrer Devru was also directed by him.
Born on 24th March, 1966, Sadhu Kokila, also known as Kokila Sadhu, hails from a family of musically inclined people. His father was a violinist in a music group of Karnataka Police Department. His sister and mother are singers. Layendra, Kokila’s brother, is also an actor. Kokila pursued his schooling at St. Joseph’s Indian High School in Bangalore. Kannada star Upendra provided him with the name Sadhu Kokila. 
Kokila kickstarted his career in the film industry as a musician and eventually he was referred to Kasturi Shankar, another musician. He has the reputation of being one of the swiftest keyboard players in India. Kokila has helmed direction for 12 Kannada flicks, and 6 of them were remakes. His directorial venture Anarkali was dropped midway. 
Kokila expresses that audiences and the media question whether his films are a remake or original. He had made up his mind not to endeavor in remakes. He feels that composing music requires a lot of creativity. As far as his comedy stint is concerned, he is loved by the audience. And about acting he feels that it is exciting. Sadhu Kokila has received awards for music direction twice. 
As far as remakes are concerned Kokila is of the view that there are creative limitations. But originals are enjoyable both in the sense of creativity and visualization. Sadhu Kokila along with Doddanna make a good pair for situation comedies. Kokila is compared with Johnny Lever of Bollwyood,for his comedy skills. 
On his personal front, Kokila is wedded to Saleena. They are blessed with two sons.
