Shreya Ghoshal, one of the most famous singers in Bollywood today, was born on March 12th, 1984, in Berhampore, West Bengal. Her father Biswajit Ghoshal is an electrical engineer and mother Sharmistha Ghoshal is a postgraduate in literature. She started singing since the age of 4 when her mother taught her. She started her formal training in Hindustani classical Gharana of music when she was only six years old. She was trained for 18 months after which she continued her training in Mumbai with Late Mukta Bhideji. She completed her graduation in Arts with majors in English. Her first on-stage performance was at their club’s annual function. Her first studio album was in Bengali in 19998 and was named Bendhechhi Beena, and her first onscreen performance was in Awaz Nayi Andaaz Wohi. In 1995, she became the winner of All India Light Vocal Music Competition. Her fame and career began with her winning a television singing reality show named Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Supriya Lohith is an Indian playback singer who has captivated the audience with her mellifluous voice in soundtracks for more than fifty movies over the past decade. Her eloquence in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Tulu has made her an eminent figure in the south Indian music industry. Born in Bangalore, Karnataka, she began singing on stage at local events from a tender age of six.

Shalini Sathyanarayan is not only an anchor but also an actress. She has a unique style of acting that has won her many fans. The movie Maduveye Mamatheya Kareoyle, which also had Amulya and Suraj Gowda, was the debut film of this actress. She did her role with utter conviction. She garnered the attention of the audiences through the television serial Paapa Pandu. Naati Mane, a cookery show, is the latest endeavor of Shalini. This show is telecast on Udaya TV. Niranjan Kumar Shetty (also known as Niranjan Shetty) is an Indian actor in Kannada Film Industry. He is known to have a large fan following specifically in Bangalore, India. He completed his education by receiving a degree of Masters in Fine Arts. He studied Fine Arts at College of Fine Arts (Chitrakala Parishat) in Karnataka. Following his post-graduation, he started acting and since, he has been seen in Kannada TV soap operas and multiple movies. He also is the Managing Director of his self-initiated company Ranjan Communications. One of the serials in which Niranjan Shetty can be spotted as the male lead protagonist is “Laxmi Baramma”. The TV soap is a tale of friendship imbibed with the typical Indian television family drama. It is telecasted all through the week, except on Sundays. It is broadcasted on the evening prime time, that is, 7:30 pm on ETV Kannada. The show mainly revolves around a friendship that can rarely be seen in real life. Like any other Indian TV serial, the theme revolves around the female protagonist, Laxmi. Her friendship with her boss' daughter Shruti is the main statement. The male protagonist, Niranjan Shetty, enters the scenario when the girls plan on getting married.

He is married to Lakshmi Kumari and has three children - two sons and a daughter. His sons Surya Sivakumar and Karthik Sivakumar are actors. Also, his elder daughter-in-law Jyotika is a famous Kollywood actress. T Sivakumar is a devotee of Lord Sri Murugan. Jayanth Gourish Kaikini is an Indian Lyricist, Story Teller and Poet working in Kannada Cinema and Kannada Literature. Jayanth was born on the 24th of January 1955 in Gokarna, Uttara Kannada, Karnataka State, India. Jayanth was born to Gourish Kaikini, a Kannada litterateur and Shanta, a school teacher, and a social worker. After a masters in Biochemistry which he attained from Karnataka University, Dharwad, Kaikini moved to Mumbai where he was working as a Chemist. He is now living in Bangalore with his wife and two children. Jayanth is regarded as one of the most prominent writers in Kannada today. He writes film scripts, poetry, and short stories.

V Nagendra Prasad is a lyricist, music director, director and an actor in the Kannada film industry. He was born on 3rd December 1975 to ‘MV Venkata Ramanappa’ and ‘Chandramma’ in Nagamangala, Karnataka. Prasad completed his schooling in Bangalore. Being passionate about literature, he chose Kannada literature in his under graduation course. To pursue his post graduation, he moved to Mysore. Nagendra is interested in writing poems from his young age. His career in cinema started as a lyric writer in 2000. His first film is “Gajina Mane”, directed by ‘KV Jayaram’. “Hamsalekha” composed the tunes for the lyrics of Nagendra. He developed his knowledge in cinema gradually. Prasad has penned the lyrics for more than thousand songs.

Yogaraj Bhat was born on 8th October, 1973 in Mandarthi, in coastal district Udupi of Karnataka. He is the 7th child of Ramachandra and Jayalakshmi Bhat. Ramachandra lost his life in a boat mishap.

Yogaraj is a famous director in Sandalwood industry. He has also tasted success as a lyricist, producer and screenwriter. He is mostly known for his 2006 hit Mungaru Male, which was written by Bhat along with Preetam Gubbi. He directed the film and wrote lyrics with others. Mungaru Male recorded the highest box office collections in Sandalwood history. His other achievements include introducing talented technicians to the industry like Pawan Kumar of Lucia, Pawan Wadeyar and many others.

His lyricist journey started with Mungaru Maleye from his film Mungaru Male and there was no looking back. He has written lyrics for more than 100 super hit songs for the films such as Gaalipata, Jackie, Junglee, Hudugaru, Paramathma, Pancharangi, Chingari, Super, Anna Bond, Crazy Loka, Shiva, Lifeu Ishtene, Johny Mera Naam, Victory and many more. He is so versatile that he can write a song like Mungaru Maleye and a fast one like Hale Paathre, showing his range of lyrical talent.

Bhat was inspired by classics like Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather, Akira Kurosawa's Ran and came to Bangalore at 22, to become a cameraman. As a newcomer, he served as an assistant to Girish Kasaravalli, Sunil Kumar Desai and many others. He was more thrilled about watching film making at close quarters than working with big names.

Bhat directed a TV serial, before making his first film. But it took him 8 years, before a producer could back him independently. His first movie was Mani and that showed memorable performances by Rangayana Raghu and veteran actress Umashree, both won State awards for their roles in the movie. Then he directed Ranga SSLC (2004) starring Sudeep and Ramya in the leading roles, however it did not do very well.

His next film after a long break Mungaaru Male became the biggest hit in South India, creating a record and followed by another hit, Gaalipata. He also acted in the film Dyavre for one of his assistants, which started his acting career.

On 22 July, 1995, Armaan Malik was born in the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is a playback singer by profession. Armaan belongs to a music family. His father, Daboo Malik, is also a singer and music director. The singer is the nephew of the famous Hindi music director, Anu Malik. Armaan has a brother, Amaal Malik, who is also a music director.

Puneeth was born on 17th March 1975 in Madras, Tamilnadu. He entered the industry when he was six months old. Although he hails from Madras, he was brought up in Bengalaru. He left his studies in order to work in the cinema but later achieved a diploma in computer science privately. He has a family background where all his brothers, as well as his father, are involved in the same industry. As a child artist, Puneeth worked in movies like ‘Geetha and Bhagyavantha’. He was applauded for his performance as a child and received national film award for best child artist.

In 2002, Puneeth was seen playing the lead role for the first time in ‘Appu’. He received a national award for his movie ‘Butada hoovu’. Puneeth is trained in dancing, fighting and martial arts. He was involved in the mining business for a short span of time. Moreover, he was also engaged in the production of movies and TV serials. Puneeth loved his father, Dr Rajkumar a lot and therefore built a hotel in Bengalaru, as per his father’s wish. He also carried out philanthropic work in Shakti Dharma ashram, Mysore. Puneeth married Ashwini Revanth in December 1999 and has two daughters. He is an Italian designer wear freak and loves watching Spanish and Hollywood films. He admires Michael Jackson as a singer.

Puneeth Rajkumar was not only an actor but a producer, singer, and TV Presenter. He hosted Kannadada Kotyadhipati for the 1^st, 2^nd, and 4^th seasons. Puneeth was the brand ambassador of Nandini Milk Products of the Karnataka Milk Federation. He was also the ambassador of Royal Challengers Bangalore, the Karnataka team in the Indian Premier League. Besides the National Award as a child actor, he had received lots and lots of awards from the Karnataka State Government for his Best performances in Milana and Jackie, from SIIMA for Hudugaru, Yaare Koogadali, Rana Vikrama, and “Raajakumara” and from Filmfare South, he received the Best Actor award for the films, Arasu, Hudugaru, Rana Vikrama, and Raajakumara.

Shashank Sheshagiri is a Kanada singer, music composer, and music director. He has sung in many popular movies like Randhawa (2019), Avane Srimannarayana, Padde Huli and others.
