1. Shamitha Malnad
Dr. Shamitha Malnas was born on 9th June to parents Professor U. V. Ramachandra and H. G. Sunanda. She was born in Thirthahalli, Shimoga. She is currently married to Arun Kumar D. K who is from Sringeri, and they have two children together. They are named Advaith Hegde and Shadjaa Hegde. She is famous as an Indian playback singer and that too a multilingual one at that. But, she is more popularly known for her career in the Kannada film industry. She has sung many chartbuster numbers for Kannada films and also provided good songs for her devotional albums as well., She is also an anchor, a dubbing and voice artist and also has the degree of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree (B.D.S) from Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College, KIMS, Bangalore, in addition to being a singer. She also holds a degree of B.A.(Hindi) from Prachar Sabha, Chennai.
