Vani Jairam is a South Indian playback singer in Indian cinema and was born in 30th November 1945 in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. She was the fifth daughter of a family of eight children. Her mother is Padmavathi and a disciple of Ranga Ramunaja Iyengar. He taught her Dikshitar kritis and at age of eight, she got the opportunity of singing in All India Radio.

Nikki Galrani is a model and an actress. She is famous for her acting roles in many South Indian movies. She was born in Bangalore. She finished her studies in Bishop Cotton College. She later went to take a course in the field of Fashion Designing. She said that her parents and her sister wanted her to be a doctor.

Ambika mohan is an Indian film actress, who has acted in more than 175 films. She was born in Ottapalam and bought up in Munnar. Ambika got married to a K.S.E.B engineer “Mohan”, the couple have two daughters. 

She is known for her roles in Malayalam TV serials. She has also acted in a few devotional albums which raised her popularity. We could also see her in some of the advertisements of Jayalakshmi silks, Amala hospital, Kerala handlooms and a lot more. 

One of her best performances was for the movie ‘Kasthooriman”, her character “Vanaja” was outstanding with her natural performance. The movie was directed by the late director Lohithadas, with Meera Jasmine and Kunchacko Boban in the lead roles. Her movie became super hit with the performance of Meera Jasmine, who is a versatile south Indian actress and is two time recipient of Kerala state awards. 

Her debut TV serial was Sargam which was broadcasted in Doordharsan in 2006. She has acted in telefilims Umma Ariyatha Katha in Kairali TV and “Mothiram” in Doordharsan were commendable. 

She made her debut through the movie Meghamalhar directed by “Kamal” in 2001. The film is considered as one of the best Malayalam romantic poetic love story. Ambika Mohan acted as the hero’s sister in law. The movie bagged many awards including Kerala state film awards. Ambika Mohan was lucky enough to show her presence in most of the Malayalam movie which were commercial hits. She has been active in the Malayalam film industry from 2001 to till date and is still doing handful of moves every year. Some of Her upcoming projects are: Nirameghangal, Abduvinte Swantham Ammaku, Wonderful Journey and Mallanum Mathevanum. Presently she is acting in two serials named “Balamani” telecasted in “Mazhavil Manorama” and “Bala Ganapathi” telecasted in Asianet.

One of the most prominent supporting actresses in Malayalam movies, Seema Nair is another of the most versatile actresses in the Malayalam movie industry with more than 50 movies under her belt. Born in the Mundakayam village in Kottayam, to parents M.G Gopinathan Pilla and Cherthala Sumathi, Seema has a sister, Renkua Girijan who is a playback singer, and a brother, A.G Anil, who is a music director.  She is formally trained in music, having obtained her degree from R.L.V College of Music and Fine Arts, Tripunithura.

Her career with the performing arts started with her performance as a theatre artist at the age of 17, appearing in the Cochin Sanghamithra’s drama Oru Kadamkadha in 1987. From there, she has performed in over 1000 dramas on stages globally, even winning the Kerala State Amateur Drama Awards in 1992.

Her career took a positive turn when she moved from the theatre to TV serials, and then on to movies.  Her first serial role was in the show Cherappayi Kadhakal, in the role of Kocheroda. She has also acted in telefilms and participated in reality shows including Nakshthradeepangal (Kairali TV) and as a judge for the popular reality show Rasikaraja No. 1 (Surya TV), apart from featuring on popular talk shows including Valentine’s Corner, Nammal Thammil, Valkannadi, the Sreekandan Nair Show etc.

She is also a member of the Kerala Division of the Make-A-Wish foundation and is a prominent member of the charity. She organized an event in 2012, where along with artists from Malayalam film and TV including Malini, Aju Varghese, Siddique, Kailash and the Social Welfare Minister M K Muneer. 57 children were helped through the event, where they were presented with gifts from the organizers. These children suffer from HIV, Cancer, Heamophilia and other incurable diseases, and are terminal. The work carried out by Seema Nair in providing hope and joy to these children is exceptional, with some of the most touching moments including when one of the children, Reshma R, a sixth-standard student was presented with a violin, and she burst into tears. Reshma later mentioned that she cherished a dream for a long time to touch a violin.

Srinda Ashab is a promising Malayalam movies actress who had made a lasting onscreen impression in a very short time. Srinda was born and brought up in Cochin, Kerala. As a child, she was highly focused on studies as well as extracurricular activities. During her college days, she tried her hands at modeling, documentaries and anchoring which opened up more opportunities for her in the big screen. She has also worked as a stylist and photographer before reaching her true career destination. Srinda graduated with flying colors from sacred heart college. Srinda has modeled for several products like hair oils and cosmetics before making her debut in movies with the Malayalam movie 22 female Kottayam. Srinda’s flawless humor sense and energetic personality has assured her a permanent place in the film industry. Srinda’s role as the innocent village woman Susheela in the movie 1983 was widely appreciated. Srinda’s other notable roles were in movies like Annayum Rasoolum, Thattathin Marayathu, 101 Weddings.

Srinda’s family is her support system. Her parents allowed her to pursue her passion. Her husband, inlaws and son are equally supportive. In 2014, Srinda debuted in Tamil movies with Vennnila Veedu.

Having nearly 30 years of acting experience in the Malayalam Movie industry, Valsala Menon is a true mentor and method actress, having acted in over 150 films.

Born in 1945 to parents Raman Menon and Devakiyamma, in the Thrissur district, she learned the nuances of classical dance from an early age, and performed on several stages in the presence of several dignitaries. She was crowned Miss Thrissur in 1970, following which she entered the realm of acting. She made her debut through the movie Thiramala in 1953 as a child artist. Thirmala was directed by Vimal Kumar and P.R.S. Pillai, and holds a special place in Malayalam cinema, having the renowned film maker Ramu Kariat working as an Assistant Director, with the cast Kumari Thankam, Sathyan and Thomas Burleigh.

Although she had several offers to act in movies, she did not enter the movie scene from the time of her marriage until the time her children had completed their schooling, making her comeback in Kiratham in 1985.

Following her re-entry into the movie scene, she acted in several movies of note, including Parinayam (1994) where she played the role of Veliya Athemaru alongside industry legends like Thilakan, Mohini, Manoj K Jayan, and Nedumudi Venu. This got her noticed, following which she acted in some of her most famous roles. She also has acted in serials on the silver screen apart from several advertisements as well.

Some of her movies of note include Uppu, Sunil Vayassy, Oridathu, Theertham, Unnikale Oru Kadha Parayam, Nakshathrakoodaram, Sainyam, Vellinakshatram, Achuvinte Amma, Manushyamrugham,  Oru Yathrayil, Avatharam among several others, from 1986 to 2014.

She has also acted in the following serials: Jalam, Swaamiye Saranamayappa, Mohakkadal, Velankani Mathavu on Surya TV, Alaundinte Albuthavilakku, Parasparam, on Asianet, and Sree Padmanabham on Amrita TV, apart from a reality TV show on Kairali TV named Nakshathradeepangal.

Abrid Shine is a well known Indian Fashion Photographer and director, from Kerela. Photography has always been his interest, even when he was doing Bachelor of Commerce, at Thalayolaparambu a place in Kerala. He is a huge fan of cricket and an admirer of the legendry cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. He has keen interest in cricket and always keeps himself updated with anything happening related to cricket. He was doing wedding photography in Poothotta and was completing college at the same time. Once he graduated, he became more involved in Photography, and made himself professionally busy.

Vinod Shornur is a South Indian producer who works in the Malayalam film industry. His production company is known as "Cast N' Crew." He produced the Malayalam comedy thriller "Oru Vadakkan Selfie" in 2015, starring Nivin Pauly, Aju Varghese, and Manjima Mohan. Vinod Shornur has also worked as a production controller in films such as Thattathin Marayathu, Homely Meals, and Thira. Some of his peers and co-producers are Sophia Paul, Deepan Bopathy, and Ashiq Usman. He has also produced the films Richie (2017), a Tamil action thriller directed by Gautham Ramachandran, and Visudha Mejo (2022), a Malayalam drama starring Mathew Thomas and Lijo Mol Jose. He also produced the movie Pookkalam starring Basil Joseph and Roshan Mathew.

Bipin Chandran, also known as Bindran is a screenplay and dialogue writer from Kerala. His day job is that of a Malayalam teacher at Government Higher Secondary School, Edakunnam, Kottayam, near his hometown of Ponkunnam. Also a fabulous writer, he wrote the book “Mammootty: Kazhayum Vayanayum”, a collection of interviews, stories and essays which portray the greatness of superstar Mammootty as an acting stalwart of the Malayalam film industry. His other famous books are 'Kriyaathmaka Jeevithathilekku Pathu Chuvadukal' and 'Maayude Kathukal'. Bipin did his schooling from AKJM HS Kanjirappally and later joined St. Berchaman’s College, Changanacherry. Even while entering college he had no dreams of entering the cinema. All he was interested was in beating his senior in college, now movie director, Martin Prakkat at his own game. Their interest in theater brought them together, and they built a formidable theater team. Their group even represented M.G. University at the national level. Bipin went off to Maharaja’s College for post-graduation following the footsteps of Martin. It was at the place where he wrote his first story for Malayala Manorama’s Campus line in 1998. Being a prolific writer, Bipin wrote his first book “Mammootty: Kazhayum Vayanayum” which later came to be taught in film and cultural studies courses in the state of Kerala.

The precious icon of the Indian music industry, Gopi Sundar has composed his soulful music for more than fifty movies to date. In 2014, he composed the songs & background score for the Malayalam movie "1983" and was awarded the National Award.the movie got a good critic rating of 3.5 out of 5.abrid shine, the debut director of the movie was awarded the Kerala State Awards in the category of the best debut director. Alongside the film bagged two more awards for the category of best & second best actor in the same award ceremony of 2014. He was born in Kochi & opted for joining the music industry for his career. Gopi has a good knowledge of instruments like Tabla & keyboard & has worked as a keyboard programmer in some of Bollywood hit films.

Hari Narayanan is a Tamil and a Malayali song lyricist. It is hard to find a native Malayali who has never heard any music composition or song made by this famous lyricist. They are very fond of his music and almost hear him regularly. The most popular and famous Malayalam music and song of 2014 was composed and written by Hari. The name of the song was Olenjali Curuvi. The lyrics of the song were so touching and soothing that it captured the attention of not only the young generation, but also the old people couldn’t resist themselves from loving this composition. Even the song Kaatumooliyo Pranayam was a great hit.

Santhosh Varma is a well known Tamil Lyricist and has done many movies. He has written the lyrics of many amazing movies and the audience like the songs written by him. Songs are the most important part of the movies as the music attracts the audience the most. Songs of the movies are released even before the movie and most of the people like music a lot. Lyrics that are written by him are appreciated by everyone. He has written the heart-touching lyrics of many Tamil movies. He has written the lyrics of the songs of the film Vetri Nadai. He wrote the lyrics very well and it was very heart touching and was liked by everyone as well.

Shankar Mahadevan, a well-renowned, talented and famous music composer, and singer. An accomplished musician in Tamil cinema, he is a part of the Shankar Ehsaan Loy trio team that provides music to Bollywood and other International films. He has won various Indian and multiple National Film Award. His most famous albums include, “Breathless“- Album that first gave him fame, including the song, "Breathless," in which he sings throughout the whole song without pausing to breathe and “Nine” - Nine is Shankar's most recent album. Each song is a representation of a "mood," including joy, sadness, love, etc. He was also invited by UNESCO and the US State Department to perform at the UN General Assembly Hall for the finale of the International Jazz Festival on 30 April 2012 which is a thing of pride. Shankar has always considered himself as a restless student wanting to learn more every time. He says he’s thirsty and want to learn every time and experiment with something new. He wants to be a perfectionist. Shanker also feels that Karnatak music is the most powerful form of music and he himself started with Karnataka classic which he says is the best to create a prominent base for music. Music is the thing which excites Shanker the most, and he would always be attached to it. Personal Life: Shanker Mahadevan was born in Chennai to a Tamil family but was later brought to Mumbai and was raised there. Being born into a Tamil family and later raised in Mumbai, he knows both Hindi and Tamil language but is not well versed with Tamil and Malayalam. He finished his schooling from OLPS High School in Chembur and his engineering in computer science from R.A.I.T (D Y Patil, Navi Mumbai). His wife, Sangeeta is Maharashtrian and oldest son Siddharth Mahadevan. Also, a singer, made his debut on the 2013 Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’s song, Zinda. Shankar’s youngest son, Shivam Mahadevan, also a singer made his debut in 2013 in the movie Dhoom 3’s song, Bande Hain Hum Uske. Mahadevan is fluent in Marathi, Tamil, Hindi, Urdu and English.

Sameera Saneesh is a South Indian costume designer and fashion designer who works in the Malayalam film industry. She was born on 27th June 1983. She is well known for designing costumes of Mammootty, Jayasurya, Prithviraj Sukumaran and other stars. Sameera hails from Eroor village of Ernakulam district in Kerala. Her parents are Ibrahim and Jameela. She married a software engineer named Saneesh K. J. on 26th November 2006. She learned drawing and painting from Kalabhavan Kochi during her school years. Sameera did an under graduation course at Bharat Mata College before joining a Fashion Designing diploma at the Nation Institute for Fashion Designing in Panampilly Nagar. After diploma, she worked as an in-house designer for “Raymonds” for some time before becoming a freelance costume designer for ad-films. Her first projects were the advertisements for “Saundarya Silk”. She rose to prominence due to her work in Seemas.

Anoop Menon is an Indian film actor, script writer and lyricist born on Aug 3, 1977 in Kozhikode and bought up in Thiruvananthapuram. Anoop is a law graduate and completed his degree in Government law college, Thiruvananthapuram. During his academic years he was anchoring shows in Kairali TV and Surya TV. 

He started his career by playing a leading role in a popular Malayalam TV serial called “Swapnam” broadcasted by Asianet. Anoop made his debut as a script writer in the movie “Pakal Nakshatrangal” in which Mohanlal got Mathrubhumi award and Kerala film critic award for best actor. 

Anoop Menon made his debut as an actor through the Malayalam movie “Kattuchembakam” in the year 2002. He acted in around 7-8 movies, including “Pakal Nakshatrangal” for which he wrote the script. He has acted in 48 Malayalam films till date and in a Hindi movie “Anubhav” in 2009. 

The movie “Thirakkatha” and the role “Ajay Chandran” was a real break for the actor in his career. The movie plot was based on the big time romance of the actor Kamal Haasan and the late actress “Srividya” in late 70’s. The film won the National award for best feature film and the actress “Priyamani” won the Filmfare award for her character “Malavika” in the year 2009. 

He played “Ravi Abraham” in the movie beautiful which bought a new hit combo in Mollywood, Anoop Menon and Jayasurya. Later on, they appeared together in 4 movies, including “David and Goliath” and “Hotel California”, which portrayed a low profile at the box office but all the other movies were box office hits. Currently, the hit duo has taken a small break from teaming up. His upcoming projects are Dolphin and She-Taxi. He was lyricist in the movies “Beautiful”, “Namukku Parkkan” and “Buddy” and he won the best lyricist award for the song Mazhaneer Thullikal from the movie “Beautiful”.

Nivin Pauly is predominantly a Malayalam actor. Born on 11 October 1984, his debut film was Malarvaadi Art Club. The direction of this film was by Vineeth Sreenivasan and production by Dileep. Some of the other films of Nivin Pauly include Bangalore Days, Thattathin Marayathu, Premam, Oru Vadakkari Selfie etc..The films 1983 and Bangalore Days fetched him the Best Actor Award from Kerala State Film Award. Nivin holds a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He is happily wedded to Rinna Joy since 2010, and they are blessed with a boy. Before taking up acting as his profession Nivin was working in Infosys for two years.

Nivin’s selection for the Malarvaadi Arts Club was not that easy. He was not one among the shortlisted actors for the audition, but when one person eventually left, Nivin was provided with a chance. Later he became an actor. From then on, Nivin worked in the movies Sevenes and Metro and some short roles in Spanish Masala and Traffic. He also worked in the music video Nenjodu Cherthu. This was a great hit in YouTube. It was the 2012 flick Thattathin Marayathu which was a turning point in Nivin’s career. It was a great hit and he was labeled the present youth sensation. Directors like Sathyan Anthikad, Aashiq Abu, Rajesh Pillai and Shyamaprasad directed Nivin. Neram was the debut film of Nivin in Tamil. Later he acted in some Malayalam films, including Bangalore Days.

The beard is a regular in some of Nivin’s films. Nivin has worked with his colleague Dileep in several Malayalam films. Nivin confesses that he was good at knowing dialogues of films by heart and telling them just like the original. Before taking up acting Nivin had no stage experience and he knew only to dance. Nivin focuses on giving his best to his films.

Aju Varghese is an Indian film actor, born to Varghese PK and Celiene Susan in the year 1985. He has a younger sister named Anju. He was born in Thiruvalla city located in Kerala. Aju completed his schooling in Rajagiri High School and further continued his studies in Bhavan’s Vidyalaya located in Ernakulum.

Dinesh Nair is an Indian casting director and production manager who introduced the world to Andria D’Souza in the English erotic drama “Kamasutra 3D” (2013). Screened at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, it is the only Indian movie with five songs to be nominated for an Oscar for the Original Song category.

Jacob Gregory has mainly worked in Malayalam films. The 2013 Malayalam flick ABCD is his debut film. This film was directed by Martin Prakkat. The TV series (online sitcom) Akkarakazchagal showcased his acting prowess and he gained recognition for his performance. The name of his character in this series is Gregory or ‘Giri Giri.” This character was well crafted. This TV series was instrumental in Jacob Gregory travelling Canada, U.S. and Europe. He performed various shows based upon this series. In fact, Jacob was so engrossed with the character Girigiri that he used to imitate it in real life too. 

Joy Mathew has various feathers to his cap; he is an actor, director, writer and a political persona. But he is very humble in this real life. Hailing from an upper-class Christian family he had his initial days in Kozhikode. He initially joined Pune Film Institute but later opted for post graduation in Mass Media and Journalism. But films always remained his passion. 

Born on 20th September 1961, Joy Mathew hails from Challissery, Thrissur. Joy Mathew’s films reflect his childhood days and fervent association with left-wing politics. He believes in giving equal treatment to everyone. Joy Mathew is an optimist and is service-minded. He has great passion towards theatre and films. Joy Mathew’s input to Malayalam theatre is indeed commendable. He has appeared in some movies too. Joy rocked the Malayalam film industry during the 80s. 

Joy Mathew has donned the role of a main villain in the biggest 2013 grosser-Amen. The flick Shutter is his debut directorial venture and it received great critical acclaim. This film gained international recognition and was bestowed with several honours. This movie was also well received by the audience. 

The 1986 flick Ammaye Kanan, in which John Abraham wielded the megaphone, had Joy donning the lead role. This film was lauded critically and it was adjudged as one of the best Indian films by British Film Institute. Then Joy was in a sabbatical for 27 years and re-entered the industry in 2013 and he donned the role of supporting actor as well as director. He has a distinction of working in 14 movies in 2013 and this indeed a commendable achievement. 

Sangeeta Nataka Academy and Kerala Sahitya Academy felicitated him for a couple of his plays. Athirthikkal, Pretoria-October 18, Sankadal and Chille 73 are some of his commendable endeavors as a playwright. Joy Mathew took vigorous involvement in some cultural groups. The Campus Theatre Movement is his foundation which was started in 1980. His contribution to Malayalam plays is over 20.

Kalabhavan Prajod is a Malayalam film actor born on 18th May, 1978. He has played lead role in the movie named ‘Kadhayile Nayika’. He is mostly known for playing supporting roles in movies like British Market, Kathara, Lion, One Way ticket and the likes. His prominent works are 2016 release of ‘Action Hero Biju’ which is an entertainment Malayalam romedy. Comedy is the strength of this actor and he has carved a niche for himself. He has shared screenspace with the big names in the Malayalam industry. He has been endeavoring in the comedy genre for a long period.

Do you remember the funny side-kick of Mohanlal from Jeetu Joseph’s brilliant Drishyam (2013)? Yes, it was played by Neeraj Madhav. Today, he is one of the most promising actors. His younger brother Navneeth is also a well-known actor. Before acting, he had started off his career in dance. He is a professional Bharata Natyam artist. So, it was not surprising to see him making into the final round of the first “Super Dancer.” He is an SRM University graduate and an alumni of School of Drama and Fine Arts, Thrissur. Thanks to Drishyam, Neeraj’s comic side is now used in various films. But before, films like Homely Meals and Sapthamashree Thaskaraha (2014) gave him the right experience.

Saiju Govind Kurup, known for his screen name as Saiju Kurup in the film world. Saiju was born in Aroor Kerala ion 1981 and he is currently a busy actor in the Malayalam industry. He made his debut in the ever hit classic movie Mayoogham directed by the famous director Hariharan. He played the character Unni who was a rebel. The opposite lead to Saiju was Mamta Mohandas .He got two awards for his acting in the movie Mayoogham. The best new comer Bharatan awards and film city awards.

Saiju was working in Birla company there he met his better half Anupama and then both joined in Airtel company. Saiju and Anupama later decided to marry and the couple had a beautiful girl child. He was the direct Sales manager in Airtel. At that time he met the famous singer M G Sreekumar who later introduced him to Hariharan. Mayoogham was a hit and for the memory of his first movie the couple named their daughter as Mayoogha.

Saiju then acted on many films in lead roles, negative roles, supporting roles etc. Some of his movies were box office hits like Munnariyippu, Baba Kalyani, Mulla, Makeup Man, Trivandrum Lodge etc. His role in Mulla was quite different both in looks and attitude. He played the role of a negative police officer.

Saiju was selected in the li9st of Forbes India Magazines most stunning actor. He ranked 12 th out of 100 members in the Forbes list. He has a large fan following and he constantly interacts with the followers in the online portal formkerala.com and because of his sincere attitude towards his fans his fans call him as Saiju Annan.

Sanju Sivaram is an actor, famous in the Malayalam film circuit. As a lead actor, he made his debut on the silver screen, in 2014, with the film ‘1983’. The next movie he starred in was ‘Beware of Dogs’ in the year 2014. His debut in the film industry was in the comedy thriller film ‘Nee Ko Njaa Cha’ released in the year 2013, directed by Gireesh.

Tini Tom is a famous Indian movie actor, TV awards presenter and also a mimicry artist. He was born on 1 February in 1972, and his birthname was Devassy. He began his profession as mimic.
