Malayalam Movie Review Anarkali - Cast & Crew

The young Indian model and South Indian actress Gimi George, who is widely known as Miya George, is a gift and promise for the Malayalam film industry. She was born on Jan 28th, 1992 in the busiest city in our country, Mumbai. Later she moved back to her native Kerala. She completed her schooling from Sacred Heart’s girl’s high school and St Mary’s higher secondary school, Bharananganam in Kottayam district. She did her BA at Alphonsa College and from Master in St Thomas College in Pala. Born as the second daughter of George and Mini, Miya George entered the industry through Television commercials (soap ads) and modeling projects. Later she acted in the television serial ‘Alphonsaamma’ which is screened in Asianet channel and also in Kunjaali Marakkar.

Priyal Gor is a gorgeous young Indian model and actress who started her journey at the early age of 15. The actress was born and raised up in Mumbai, together with her younger brother and elder sister. Her mother wishes her to become a successful actress, until she was spotted by a friend and gave her a role in Disney channel’s Ishaan: Sapno Ko Awaaz De. After working for 15 days, she instantly got the female lead role as Mona Anukalp and Aditya Gandhi in the drama series, Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi on Zee TV, followed by another lead role as Yuvrani Rajkumari Manyata Kumari or Moniya in the drama soap, Dekha Ek Khwaab on Sony Entertainment Television India. This is a tale about a girl who wishes to become a princess and was granted as she discover that she is the long lost princess from the Devgarh Royals. Subsequently, she did a supporting role in the series, Baat Hamari Pakki Hai and bagged the role of Neelam. She also acted as Priyanka in the comedy serial, Ammaji Ki Galli on SAB TV. After that, Priyal took a break in doing television serials but she did some episodic appearances in Savdhaan India, Gumrah: End of Innocence and MTV Webbed. She also replaces Aanchal Munjal in playing the female lead in an episodic in Yeh Hai Aashiqui which was aired on Bindass channel. The young actress also made a cameo appearance in the drama series, Ek Boond Ishq on Life OK. In 2013, she joined a Pakistani adaptation of the famous reality show, Fear Factor on ARY Digital channel entitled, Madventures.

Priyal also did various TV and print ads that developed her skills more as an actress and have helped her in gaining more fame and popularity. In 2013, she was debuted as a film actress in the Punjabi film, Just U & Me and essayed the role of Geet. She was recently debuted in Tollywood through the film, Saheba Subramanyam along with Dilip Kumar. The film was directed by Sasi Kiran and a remake of the Malayalam film entitled Thattathin Marayathu. This year, Priyal entered the Mollywood industry as she bagged a role in the Malayalam film, God Bless You by Benjith Baby Mylaady. She played the role of one of the female leads together with Isha Talwar.

Priyal would love to try directing someday. She picked up and tried to learn new things while she’s on set and hopefully she can use them one day when she finally lay her hands in directing films or television shows.

Sujith Vasudevan is a music director and a singer who mainly composes film scores for Malayalam films. He is prominently known by his stage name ‘Sharreth’. He composed music for some of the Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films as well.

Prithviraj Sukumaran is one among the bubbly actor of South India. This young charming man hailed from Kerala, the God’s own country. He was born in the year 1982 to Sukumaran and Mallika Sukumaran. He has given multiple hits in Malayalam and Tamil movies including Swapna Koodu, Pokkiri Raja, Anwar, Urumi, Celluloid, Mozhi, Ninaithaale Inikkum, Raavanan, Kaaviya Thalaivan and much more. He got the best actor award from the Government of Kerala for the film Celluloid, in which he performed as J. C. Daniel, the pioneer of Malayalam cinema, who hailed from Tamilnadu. He is the producer of Urumi, Indian Rupee, Kadal Kadannoru Mathukkutty, Sapthamashree Thaskaraha, Double Barrel and Ennu Ninte Moideen. He has also sung a song Kanne Kanne, in the film Puthiya Mukham.

The tall, dark and handsome Biju Menon started his acting career from the small screen. He acted in serials like Mikayelinte Santatikal and Ningalute Swantam Chandu. Mikayelinte Santatikal focused on the life of a family and their complex relationships. 

 In movies, he started with villain roles, second hero roles, and character roles and then graduated to main hero roles. Biju Menon married actress Samyukta Varma, and they have a son Daksh. Biju and Samyukta have acted together in a couple of movies during which they developed a likeness for each other. Kabir Bedi is well known Indian television and film actor who had worked in multiple continents like US, many countries of US and India in all the formats i.e. Movies, Television and theatre. He has good command in multiple languages and also very much popular in Italy. His well-known and recognized performances includes but not limited to are role of Emperor Shahjahan in Taj Mahal, pirate in European TV miniseries named as Sandokan, and playing a villainous role in famous James Bond movies named as Octopussy.

He is married four time and also father of 3 children. As he is active supporter for freedom in Burma, he is also the official ambassador of Burma Campaign UK.

Suresh Krishna is a noted actor in the South Indian Film and movie industry who mostly works in Malayalam and Tamil TV serials and movies and is known for his portrayal of strong negative characters. Suresh Krishna was born on April 5 to Balakrishna Panicker and Parvathy who hails from Guruvayur also known as Dwarka of South in Kerala, India. Suresh Krishna was born, brought up and educated in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.

Sudev Nair is an actor well known for his award-winning performance in the Malayalam film, ‘My Life Partner’. He was born on 14th April 1985 in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra. He completed primary education from Sulochanadevi Singhania High School in Thane. He did his higher secondary education from V. G. Vaze College of Arts Science and Commerce situated in Mulund, Maharashtra.

K R Sachidanandan who is popularly known as Sachy, is a writer. He was born in Kodungallur, Thrissur district of Kerala. He is a multi-talented person. He is a theatre artist, director, writer, producer Film script writer and many more. All these roles exist within a single person. Under the stamp of Thakkal Film Production House, he is the producer along with four other people, namely, S. Karyal, B. Menon, P. Surukumar and S. Krishna. He is a well known and famous director and a producer in the Malayalam Film Industry.
