Versatile and talented, Shanthi Krishna is an actress who is also one of India’s leading Bharatha Natyam dancers. She is most popular for her exceptional work in the Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada movie arena, having also won the prestigious Kerala State Film Award for best actress in 1994.

Born to parents R. Krishan and Sharada in Mumbai, her Tamil Brahmin roots only strengthened her foray in to Malayalam movies where she earned several accolades. Her career with the movie industry began with the Malayalam movie Shalini Ente Kootukaari.  Her success was also seen in movies including Chaoram, Ennum Nanmakal, Pakshe, Visa, Ithu Njangalude Katha, Saagaram Santham, Mangalam Nerunnu  among others.

Her career has spanned nearly 32 years, from 1980 with her Malayalam Debut in Shalini Ente Koottukari, to her last movie in 2012, Karppoora Deepam and has included Pandu Pandoru Rajakumari, Sriman in Malayalam; Lalli in Kannada; and Nerrukku Ner, Manal Kayiru, Panneer Pushpangal, and others in Tamil.

She has acted opposite several of the leading actors in the south including Mohan lal, Srinath, Siddique, Mammootty, Srinath, Venu Nagavally, Balachandra Menon, and Devan. She is however, remembered most for her pairing against her ex-husband Srinath.

She is a trained classical dancer, and performs in various events in temples, and other concerts. She currently works with her husband as the Director for Cultural Activities at the Rajiv Gandhi Group of Institutions where she promotes Indian dances and programs. She has won several awards of note as an artist, but as an actress, she won one award for her role in Chakoram, where she won the Best Actress Award in 1994. She also won the Second Best Actress award for her role in the movie Savidham.

Lakshmi Priya is a well-known name who established herself in the Malayalam showbiz industry with her natural acting skills and her humorous anecdotes. She was first seen on television and then moved into films. She was passionate about acting since childhood but came to the industry after her marriage with Jayesh. Her father-in-law had acquaintances in the movie industry who guided her to notable directors. She first acted in a television serial for Amrita TV, Aranazhika Neram directed by Shivamohan Thampy, which bagged many awards in 2012. 

She made her movie debut through Mohanlal starrer, and Joshiy directed movie Naran. She played the character of Pushpa, sister to Actress Bhavana’s character and a divorcee with one child. She had very little to perform in that movie, but her acting got well noticed. She did another movie with the same team as the sister of actor Dileep in Lion. She also did two movies with the late director A.K. Lohithadas, Chakkaramuthu, and Nivedyam, in comedy roles which was a break from the stereotyped roles she did so far. Her actual Break happened through director Sathyan Anthikkad movie, Bhagyadevatha featuring as Jayaram’s sister. The movie was a hit and her role got noticed.

Another hit was again with Sathyan Anthikkad movie, Kadha Thudarunnu where she featured as a brave orphan girl who helps the lead actress in finding a living. So far she has acted in more than 65 movies appearing mostly in comic roles and character roles. But Lakshmi Priya expects that she will get good roles that would remain with the audience, than acting in many numbers of movies.

Other than movies Lakshmi Priya is a dancer. She is trained in classical dances like Bharathanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kathakali, and Ottanthullal. She was also a Kalathilakam during her school days. She is married to Jayesh, an employee at Manorama news. His father was a singer who was singing for theatre plays, and he continues his father’s legacy by starting a music school in Thrissur. They are now settled in Thrissur.

This singer got two national awards for his playback in his career. Once he got for a song “Nadha Roopini’ which was picturized on Mohan Lal for his film ‘His Highness Abdulla” (1990). In 1999, he got another national award for film ‘Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum’ for the song "Chanthu Pottum". Devan is a famous actor and political activist from Kerala. He started his career with Malayalam movies and later moved on to Tamil and Telugu movies as well. He also exploited the popularity of mini screen by lending life to many mini screen characters as well. He has been an integral part of serials such as Kudumbini telecasted by Asianet; devotional hit serials include Swami Ayyappan and Sri Padmanabhan and so on. Devan is married to Suma, daughter of the famous Malayalam film director Ramu Karyat. They have a daughter Lakshmi. He was born at Trichur is 1952 as the son of Srinivasan and Vasanta. Devan has completed his higher studies in business management. He initially worked with the renowned director Hariharan and writer M.T Vasudevan Nair to produce a movie, Vellam. But unfortunately the movie turned out as a failure and Devan took up more acting assignments to clear the debts. Devan was once known as the handsome villain in the Malayalam movie industry. But in the serials, he got the opportunity to portray positive and important roles.

Devan started his career as a hero, but had to shift later to villain roles and character roles. This handsome actor was seen in pivotal roles in recent movies like Mr.Fraud, How old are you, Mannar Mathai Speaking, Immanuel, Simhasanam, etc. Devan also started a political party named Kerala People’s Party.

Ranjith is a popular and veteran character role artiste who appears in Tamil serials and movies and also in Malayalam serials and movies. He is famous for his character roles which usually bears a slight touch of humor and comic sense. His real name is Shivaji Rao but has taken the screen name of Ranjith as according to the actor it suits with an actor’s image. He originally hails from Kerala born to a Tamil family, joined an acting course after completing his studies and made her acting debut in the year 1993 with Tamil film Pon Vilangu in a small character role.  After his debut, Ranjith went on to appear in many Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies before shifting his base towards the Tamil television serials. He went on to appear in more than 25 Tamil television serials in mostly comical roles and in some, he also appeared as an antagonist playing out and out villainous roles. Ranjith has won many awards and accolades for the roles he portrayed in movies and serials.

Shivaji Guruvayoor is a Malayalam Film Actor. He was born in the Thrissur District of Kerala. He has done more than eighty movies in his entire acting career. He first appeared on the big screen in the year 1990 in a Malayalam film Vachanam. He is known as Shivaji or Guruvayoor Shivaji in the Malayalam film industry.
