Geetu Mohandas is an Indian Filmmaker cum Actress who is now familiar for her Hindi film such as Liars Dice, which the made an official entry to the Oscars. Geetu born as Gayathri Haridas in Kannur district of Kerala in 1981.Geetu is married to cinematographer Rajeev Ravi and both had a girl child Aradhana. She started her acting career at the age  of 5 in the movie En Bommukutty Ammavukku in Tamil. In the film Onnu Muthal Poojayam Vare, she acted as a child artist with Mohanlal in the lead role. The film was directed by Ragunath Paleri. Her performance as a child artist was remarkable. She got Kerala state film award for best child artist  for her performance in the movie Onnu  Muthal Poojyam Vare .Later she did many roles in Malayalam and Tamil movies.

She was then busy with her studies in Canada and in 2000 she made her come back through the movie Life is beautiful again co paired with her lucky hero Mohanlal. She then had a handful of films. In 2004, she got  the Kerala state film award for the best actress for the movie Akalae co paired with Prithviraj and Sheila. She also won Filmfare award for the same movie Akale.

She started her directorial venture in the Malayalam movie Kelkkunundo and received the Golden Lamp tree award and best short fiction award. in 2013 she directed a Hindi road drama movie Liars dice with Geetanjali Thapa and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role. The film was written and directed by Geetu herself. The film got 2 National awards for best Actress and best Cinematography. Cinematographer in the movie was Geetu’s husband Rajeev Ravi. Liars Dice was the official entry for 87th Academy awards in foreign language section.

Nivin Pauly is predominantly a Malayalam actor. Born on 11 October 1984, his debut film was Malarvaadi Art Club. The direction of this film was by Vineeth Sreenivasan and production by Dileep. Some of the other films of Nivin Pauly include Bangalore Days, Thattathin Marayathu, Premam, Oru Vadakkari Selfie etc..The films 1983 and Bangalore Days fetched him the Best Actor Award from Kerala State Film Award. Nivin holds a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He is happily wedded to Rinna Joy since 2010, and they are blessed with a boy. Before taking up acting as his profession Nivin was working in Infosys for two years.

Nivin’s selection for the Malarvaadi Arts Club was not that easy. He was not one among the shortlisted actors for the audition, but when one person eventually left, Nivin was provided with a chance. Alan McAlex is an Indian Producer. He was born in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. He is 41 years old and owns a production house known as JAR Production, in Mumbai. It was established in 2011 by him and Ajay. G. It was formed by the two producers, when they met on the sets of Thank You and decided to collaborate. They are well known for making independent films and also for providing production assistance to other production houses. Liar’s Dice of JAR’s Production was awarded the Best Foreign Language Film in the 87th Academy Awards. Geetanjali Thapa and Nawazuddin Siddiqui were in the lead roles. It got premiered at the Mumbai Film Festival in October 2013. It was screened in January 2014 at the Sundance Film Festival and International Film Festival Rotterdam.

Born on 10th September 1972, Anurag Kashyap has established himself in Bollywood as a prominent director, producer, and screenwriter while even giving acting a try.  A born and raised Uttar Pradeshi, Kashyap had keen interest in science and aimed to become a scientist. In an interview Anurag said that he had no dreams of going into the film industry and had all hopes of pursuing Zoology. He went on to say, this all changed in 1993 after he watched Bicycle Thieves, an Italian film directed by Vittorio De Sica. The film inspired him enough to give us becoming a scientist and move to Dehli to become a filmmaker.    

Anurag got his first chance in the industry as a screenwriter for Auto Narayan when the initial script by Subramaniam was not working and Anurag was given a chance to rewrite it. He then wrote the screenplay for Jayate, a Hansal Mehta film, which was never released. Rajeev Ravi is an Indian cinematographer from the state of spices, Kerala. He is also a well-established film producer and a director. Though he is from Kochi, yet he studied and completed his graduation from the Film and Television Institute of Pune in the year 1997. He was the one to start his career slowly and gradually. Initially, he worked as an assistant cinematographer and assisted in the Malayalam film ‘Pranayavarnangal’ which was released in the year 1998.
