Plot

Jacob works at Appachan’s company as a manager, and Charlie works as Appachan’s driver. Charlie keeps plotting revenge plans on Appachan, and Jacob falls in love with Betty. One day, Betty sees James, an S.I., kidnapping Indu, and she tells everyone about it. Soon, James receives bail, and he tortures her. Knowing this, Jacob kills the S.I. Meanwhile, Charlie steals 35 million from the company and flees to Australia. The police chase Jacob and Betty, but they were able to arrest only Jacob. In the jail, he tells his story to the inmates and asks for their help to escape. Will they escape? Will Appachan find out about Charlie? Why did Charlie want to kill him? Will Jacob and Betty reunite?

Star Performance

Antony, as Jacob, was the main lead and captivated the audience with his performance. Vinayakan, as Simon, was good in his role, and the interaction with Jacob was interesting. Other jail inmates were also good, and their acting looked very natural.

Analysis

The rawness and naturality in the movie was incredible. The prisoners, their treatment, jail conditions, and interaction between the jailmates were shown brilliantly. In some scenes, we have the slo-mo followed by an intense background score. With scenes like this, the movie becomes worth watching.

What’s There?

• The cinematography and the music elevated the film to the next level.

• The story was unique, and the jail escape theme was very well shown.

What’s Not There?

• Some acts could have been deleted and made the plot less complicated.

• Some parts of the story were left unanswered.

Verdict

If you are a fan of jail escaping movies, then you will surely like this movie.
