Nayanthara Joins ‘Dear Students’

Nayanthara is returning to Mollywood after a long time.

While Nayanthara is primarily known for her stint in Tamil movies, she actually made her debut into the cinema industry, with a Malayalam movie ‘ Manassinakkare Manassinakkare is a TV show in the Malayalam langu >> Read More... ’ in 2003. She later made a name for herself in the Tamil industry, while dabbling into Telugu and Malayalam cinema as well. Nayanthara has been the talk of the town since the last year. While she made the Hindi audience with her successful debut in ‘Jawan’ [which also marked Atlee’s Hindi debut], she also attracted controversy. Her last release was ‘Annapoorani’, where she portrayed the role of an aspiring chef.

The movie focused less on the subject, and more on social lectures, which were borderline derogatory. The film was not only commercially, but critically unsuccessful, and following the uproar over its OTT release, it was unceremoniously pulled down from Netflix.
